Works as advertised
Works great! Appreciate the wired switching buttons, no batteries to worry about and instant communication to the switch via wire. Build quality is fine and speed of switch is fast.

More connections than most but some small issues
More connections than similarly priced hubs on both sides. This hub can connect 4 computers to 4 USB devices which makes it perfect to use 1 keyboard, 1 mouse, 1 external USB drive, and 1 other peripheral (I use another USB hub with MicroSD / SD connections) of your choosing. The little external switch is a nice feature and unfortunately very necessary I found as the hub does not auto switch to an active signal like my old hub did (My old hub would switch to my main PC if I powered it on and all other computers were powered off) which I really liked and found it to be extremely convenient.I have this hub connected to a Windows PC, Linux PC, Mac Mini, and a raspberry pi CM5 setup in desktop mode. It works perfectly on all of them after the systems have booted. On all of the computers I do need to switch to that computer manually before booting to avoid error messages from bios etc about no keyboard being detected and the delay from pressing the switch to the hub being recognised is approx 10 seconds which is much slower than my old hub was (Approx 3 - 4 seconds).Speed wise I do get full USB 3.0 speeds which for keyboard / mouse is unnecessary but is great for external drives. I have not had any problems with connection drops or issues with devices not being recognised. If you can accept the small faults and need a hub that can connect 4 devices to 4 computers then I would highly recommend this hub.
