I bought this book because I am part of a social media group for business owners in home service related fields. I asked a question about branding in that group. There were a lot of people in that group who were praising Dan (the author) as being “the guy” when it comes to branding. Dan actually responded to that post as well! To my surprise he said to send him a message and he would try to help. I sent that message and it turned into a phone call. He was genuine and helped me out no strings attached. I bought the book and can honestly say I learned 10x more about branding in this short book than all my years combined. (By the way, he also has some great YouTube content!) Very easy to read book and no doubt this guy knows branding. Nice guy too! Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given.

As an owner of a plumbing and HVAC company, the content from "Branded not Blanded" is key. This book is relevant for an business owner who is looking to cater to the consumer. I learned a lot from it and I'm in the process of implementing a lot of the information I got from the book. Thumbs up!

I learned about Dan after attending a marketing workshop for home service businesses at the end of 2022. If you are trying to develop a brand, especially in the service industry, this book right here is an absolute MUST HAVE. It isn’t every day that someone with decades of experience wants to spell it all out for you, but that is exactly what Dan does in this book. His knowledge is so vast and it is right here within these pages, with real life proof of what great branding really will do. If you’re on the fence about rebranding, take the leap! But if you can’t commit to that yet, at least do yourself the favor of buying this book and soaking in all of the knowledge it has to offer you. You won’t regret it.
