Unbelievable!!
I’ve received these today and fitted them to an Ibanez AS63 in mint blue. Slapped some 11 gauge nickel strings on, and....Instant TONE TONE TONE!!! It’s a great, great guitar, but the stock pick ups were terrible! These pickups are genuinely something else, it just sounds so clear and full, and pushed into overdrive it sounds like Claptons 335! I’m over the moon with these pickups, absolute 100% quality! 10/10

The ones to buy
Yes these ones are the ones to buy. I have tried many versions of the PAF (yes even Gibson) and these are head and shoulders above the rest. Not cheap like some but you do get what you pay for with SD and these are lovely.Velvety blues tones from the neck pickup with plenty of treble response as well which makes a change. Up to screaming tones from the bridge with nice fat highs just when you need them. These pickups have a good reputation and for good reasons!

Buy these pickups - they're amazing
I had recently bought a second hand Tokai Les Paul Custom, great condition and low action on the neck. The problem I had was with the standard Chinese pickups which were on the guitar - they sounded 'muddy' and had no definition or bite.I also have a Fender Strat Plus which has the Lace pickups replaced with DiMarzio heavy blues pickup which sound amazing. Because of them, started looking for an equivalent set of humbuckers for the Tokai. After spending ages reading reviews of a wide range of pickups from various manufacturers, I decided on buying some Seymour Duncans. I didn't want to pay too much for some and was drawn towards the Seymour Duncan blues set. The Amazon price was about £20 less than anywhere else so I ordered them on one day delivery. They arrived by about noon on the following day - great service. The new pickups were fairly easy to fit but the soldering was a bit fiddly ( as usual ). When I had finished, I realized that I had connected the bridge pickup to the neck volume control and visa versa, quickly corrected. When I plugged into my VOX AC30 the difference to the old pickups was astounding. The Seymour Duncans had depth and also a sparkling tone with a nice break up when the volume on the amp was pushed.Having read the other reviews, I must agreed with all the good things which have been already said. These pickups are amazing value for money and have transformed a Chinese Tokai Les Paul into a 'keeper' which I want to play and enjoy for as long as I can keep plucking. It's hard to know what the difference is between this set and pickups twice and three times the price. Highly recommended.

Amazing pickups.
Purchased to breath new life into a knock-off Les Paul with aging, muddy, dull pickups. The difference in clarity and attack is really noticeable. These pickups sound absolutely great with a bit of bright crunchy overdrive, but also fantastic clean, and even with heavy distortion. Thoroughly happy!

Put in my gibson les paul classic - they're great!
I bought these to replace the "hot" pickups in my les paul classic. The existing pick ups were just too heavy and it was difficult to get a nice, bluesy tone out of them. These were a direct replacement, just taking out the existing pups and replacing them with these (the same wiring set up and a couple of desolders and solders to get them in.)They sound amazing to me, way less aggressive but still able to put out a bluesy rock tone. You can hear them in action on my bands website MarsAnalog (.co.uk)

Bridge Pickup Defective
Bought these a while back and just got them fitted but the bridge pickup is defective and does not work. Amazon is a very difficult place to raise issues and I have no idea how to contact the seller to put this right. If the seller can contact me to help me get this resolved I would be very grateful

Seymour Duncan SH1 matched set
Bought as an upgrade to an early Stag Les Paul copy: An amazingly playable guitar but with insignificant original P/U tonal quality. The difference is amazing! I've played real Gibson L-Ps that didn't sound as good (or play as well). The SH1 lacks a tiny bit of "crispness" that the original '59 has at high tone settings, which could be due to the lesser quality of the Stag body-wood, but the rich "creamy" Les Paul sound is there in spades.10/10 for the SH1; the deal, and the vendor's customer service.

Amazingly versatile pickups for a variety of genres
I purchased this pickups from Solo Music and they shipped quite fast. I had Darrell from Cosmo Music install these into a 2020 Epiphone Les Paul Classic, and now it sounds better (subjectively, of course) than my Gibson Les Paul Studio. I've also A/B'd against one of the newer LP Standards and, even with the variation in pickups, I preferred the Epiphones with the Vintage Blues Set. Though, one bit of advice: if you're installing these into a newer Epiphone with quick connect pickups, I'd recommend finding an experienced luthier.
