Absolutely Incredible
Honestly amazing, I bought them 2 years ago when they were relatively cheap and I still wear them daily. There's the normal wear and tear, on them and some cracking to the leather which is expected after 2 years but other than that they're a great pair of boots, really comfy and durable, will definitely be buying again, the quality is outstanding

Weirdly brilliant weight to durability ratio
I'm a bartender and that job has annihilated multiple pairs of shoes on me so I decided to get boots. For the money I paid these were an absolute steal. These can take a hammering, and they only really feel heavy on me after I've gotten home after a long shift. During work they feel completely fine and I haven't slipped on the floor once in them. They also keep my feet completely dry cycling in the rain. Superb value for money boots.

Comfy boots get next size up
Boots won’t win any fashion parades but they were comfortable from first wearing, which is unusual for work boots especially steel toe caps.My feet are sized 9 but I ordered a 10 and they fitted perfectly with thick work socks.Only thing is I find the inside of the soles hard for my feet compared to my previous boots or I would have given 5 stars.Maybe I have sensitive feet but I would have liked a slightly more padded insole. Otherwise great for the price.UPDATE: The heel has crumbled to nothing after 6 months rendering boots unusable. They have been leaking for about the last 6 weeks also. I have worn them every day thopugh, so up to you if you feel 6 months is okay for £35. I think I will try a different brand this time to compare.

Affordable and comfy
A sturdy, solid boot. It's a little long with a bit of room for the heel to slip, but easily remedied with thicker socks. It is comfortable to wear for long periods of time and looks good. For the price I'd say it's a pretty good pair of boots.

Surprisingly awesome! Read on if you have fussy feet
If you want a real review after a month of 10 hour days in proper safety boot conditions here it is….I work in a rail yard and it’s not just a normal rail yard it’s a steam heritage railway so it’s pretty much 1850s conditions, odd bit of concrete here n there but mostly a bomb site with undulations uneven constantly something changing under foot surfaces (see my pictures) with lots and lots of dirt scrap metal oil and detritus strewn everywhere, it’s just how it is and part of the reason steam died…I’ve always been a jcb boot man, they were nice and that’s what I bought for a long time but I got fed up of £65 here n there on something I destroyed and thought I’d try these…I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM NOW ON!!!!Absolutely outstanding these boots, they would look almost new if I wiped them, if you look at my pictures the seams are still tight like new and this is after a month of proper wear and tear, my Jcb’s that I’ve adored for the past few years would look second hand and beaten up by now.Comfort - second to none, again beat my Jcb’s by a long way!!! I suffer from pain in my heals so I need a lite boot and these give me zero grief!!! A massive massive relief when I get up in the morning and put my feet out the bed on the floor (if you know you know what I’m talking about)I’m staggered at the price of these boots because what I put them through daily and the way they look after 5 weeks is amazing!!!!Honestly, don’t waste money on fancy stuff with a name just get these and save money!! They’re comfortable all day long waterproof and hard wearing

Fantastic footwear!!
I'm on my feet for 12/14 hours a day and, at this time of year(Nov), a fair bit of that day is spent in soaking wet fields. This has been my life for coming up 10 years and so I'm really into good/great footwear...and socks! These fall into the great footwear category. Wonderfully comfortable for all of those hours, warm, waterproof(really!!) and just feel excellent on my feet. I have Morton's Neuroma and nerve damage to toes on both feet so I have to be very very careful with shoes and boots. Also have wide feet (E fitting). I wish they made these in a longer boot. My wellies are Lakeland Helston and before these, were my all year 'go to'. I have several pairs of those. I have a couple of pairs of Xpetis however if I'd bought these before the Xpetis then I wouldn't have bought the Xpetis....they're lovely and warm but not 100% waterproof. I now have 2 pairs of these Black Hammers. My entire 'other boots collection', including Merrells, the Dry Boot Company(quite a good boot but cold), Regattas, Karrimors and some randoms, are going to a shoe/clothes bank.

Water Resistant but not waterfproof
This is my second pair of Black hammer boots. I bought again as they lasted well (a year for my delivery driver work) and proved reasonably waterproof. As recommended by other reviwers I bought 1 size up on my normal fit as I have a wide foot. They proved comfortable to wear all day.My only gripe with the second pair is I got wet feet after 2 hours stint working in particularly heavy rain. Now this is unusual as in ordinary rainfall the first pair didn't leak at all. And I don't expect the second pair will let in water either. So, if you are going to work in the more extreme weathers you might want a more robust boot. For me the Black Hammer boot works well and I can recommend them for the price. Comfort is the top priority for me and these boots work for me.

Bit tight, slip on me
Got these for my walking group there bit tight for size. Seem to slip while walking, they seem well made though and have quality materiel and heavy. It will take getting used too.
