Sharp, lightweight, and very effective
When I first saw these axes, I didn't have a lot of optimism. They didn't look like they would be very effective, and the inexplicable bottle openers on the handles had a gimmicky feel to them. However, when I took them out for a test run, I was impressed by the results. They embedded themselves easily into my target, both on the broad end and the spear end.I myself have had no previous experience with throwing axes, so I can recommend them to other beginners. If I had one criticism, it would be that the protective sleeves could be better. Out of the box, one of the axes had already punched through the material a little, so be mindful.

NOT BAD "BUT"
PARACORD DID NOT STAY FOR LONG, AND THE AXE BLADED CHIPPED/BROKE OFF IN CHUNKS FROM SIMPLY THROWING INTO PINE 2X MATERIAL.

Best throwing axes I've ever owned
These throwing axes exceeded my expectations. The quality is absolutely perfect, the steel that these axes are made out of are extremely high quality. These axes have a really nice weight to them and a paracord wrapped handle which makes them comfortable to hold and throw. These axes are so beautifully fabricated making it a dream for beginners learning to throw these axes. The axes are incredibly sharp on the front and the rear point, making it easy for them to stick when throwing. The dual sharp ends make it so you can throw them either side and it increases your accuracy as they will easily stick. The axes come beautifully in a very well constructed cover for the axe blade and a plastic cover for the opposite end where the blade goes into a point. With these axes being so well covered it increases the safety of traveling with these axes or storing them. These are such an incredible value and the best beginner throwing axes you could ask for. These could easily be the only set of throwing axes you may ever need, I know it will be for me. I couldn't be happier with these axes!

Not over-sharp, proper for throwing purposes. Rear point is safely designed.
The balance of these is pretty good, and the blade design is very good for beginners. The blade is sharp, but it's not some absurd razor edge like some would have; this means you're unlikely to get cut, and the blade won't dull rapidly since it can rely on the edge being very thin instead of just being sharp. The only thing that might present an issue for beginners(aside from the process of just learning to throw aces) is the tip of the handle having the slight hook to it--while this is actually a feature, beginners might find themselves chafing their fingers until they learn a more gentle touch.Definitely a nice beginner throwing axe set. Don't imagine these are for cutting wood, they are not balanced or sharpened for felling or splitting. They are not a multipurpose tool, they are strictly for axe throwing. They would be better than having nothing, but you might hurt yourself if you tried to use them like a normal axe.
