Great for a large indoor crate
I absolutely love the kennel and for being used as a indoor crate it’s very large. Now for outdoor I’d definitely get the bigger one. I found the size to be very confusing being in one part it says 4’x4’ then in description it says 4.5x4.5 then in pics it says 55”x55” ?? So which is accurate? The outer dimensions are 55”x55” which is 1” bigger than 4.5Ft which was perfect for me.Assembly was very easy and took the wife and I About 45 minutes being you have to sit and figure out the instructions. Once you get going it’s a piece of cake. The only part of the cage that’s lacking is the lock mechanism for the door. It works but I don’t care for the idea whatsoever so am making my own lock set up.The cage gives my 110lb bully XL plenty of room for his cage time. I’m having to crate and rotate 2 males that don’t get along so wanted extra room for them being they spend half of the time inside the cage. It’s for there own good. Very sturdy, I cut a sheet of plywood to put on top instead of the canopy so I have a place to store things on top of the cage. Works very well and I love it.

Great for Chicken Run Addition
We already have a 10x10 chicken run, but wanted to give the hens a little more room to roam when we were not home. we do not like to let them free range in the backyard without someone home, due to local predators. While the kennel is meant for dogs and is not completely protected/secure, it still provides enough cover and shade for the hens. They still have their secure run with wire protection as well.Assembly was fairly easy with two people. It would more challenge by yourself to assemble. If you are going to attach as an addition, I'd recommend planning out your layout. We swapped some panels to create the design we wanted, with the roof function still intact. Also, I'd recommend starting with the panel you plan to attach to your current kennel/run and work your way around. It made the installation a lot quicker and easier. It has not been tested in severe weather yet. I will update my review after our next major storm to provide a sturdiness review.

DO NOT BUY
I wish I could give it negative stars, I bought this cage not even a year ago for my dog and ever since the second month I could tell I got scammed for the price it was because of how cheap everything looked but I was already out of the return window so I didn’t have an option than to go with it. The bowl holders snapped within the first month because of the cheap welding job so I had to buy a big piece of metal to cover the hole it left since my pup could get cut or scratched. We had a little heavy rain a lil ago and the roof couldn’t stand it because it was already rusted like everything else in the cage and also collapsed(if its made for outside it SHOULD stand anything of that sort) thank god she wasn’t in there in that moment otherwise she would’ve been hurt.Fast forward to now , she was able to break the door frame by just pushing it which was also rusted (this is a 50 pound slim dog we’re talking about that doesn’t even spend much time in there, not a 100+ pound dog so she shouldn’t be able to break it so easy) I tried reaching out to get a replacement for the roof rails and door frame since I’m holding the roof with a stick and I can’t even put her in there because the door frame is broken and the door is basically hanging and they’re telling me that I bought and used it for a “long” time so they can’t replace it. If I would’ve known , I would’ve bought any other cage on the market because after spending close to $1000 I would expect at least better help replacing stuff because of the quality issue and all the problems in less than a year of owning it. My tip to you is DONT BUY THIS CAGE if you’re looking for something safe and secure to keep your dog in.

One of my Favorite Purchases
Needed a little outside kennel, so the family dog is not cooped in a small kennel all day. This kennel is super easy to put together, great size, quality materials used, and overall, one of my favorite purchases because of how nice it looks.

Doors a little bit loose….
Kennel worked great for my little corgi! The smaller doors that you can open individually are a little loose and easy for an escape artist to open. Same goes for the latch on the door. I used an elastic band to secure all the doors for peace of mind. If you have an escape artist I would recommend doing the same. Otherwise I think it was great!

Good!
We have 6 dogs. Value for money was great! No missing parts. Not super easy to assemble. But it wasn’t too bad. You can move it anywhere. Easy to function. And build quality is good.

Missing pieces
Nice sturdy cage for my chickens but it was missing instructions, grommets for the feed doors, and a latch for the actual door!! Traded the tarp top for some tin so it would actually be weather proof.

It is exactly what you pay for.
No missing parts, it’s made of durable steel. It’s a quite large cage for the money so, you can actually house a couple medium or, several small animals if you wanted. It was fairly easy to assemble. There are videos on YouTube that explain it pretty easily. There are several safety features that keep animals in so, that’s a plus and I really like the shade on top, even though it could be a little more heavy duty for outdoor use, it’s not bad. Overall, it’s a 5 ⭐️ product…
