Excellent tire at an affordable price
On our previous car, we had the older style Nexen winter tires and they lasted for 4 seasons with plenty of life left. Fast forward, I went ahead and ordered these for our current car and was not disappointed. These are extremely grippy, extremely affordable and on-par performance-wise with Nokian tires in my opinion. I won’t know how durable these are until we have had them on the car for a while, but my last set lasted many years. they have low road noise, and comfy ride quality. They also have a tread pattern designed to keep fuel mileage at a decent level while still providing plenty of snow and ice grip. Even without studs, these are awesome on slippery roads. Highly recommend.

Unpaid and Honest Review - These are great Tires.
I don't submit a lot of reviews, these warrant one though.Bought a 2nd set of 18" tonight and will confirm these are the best winter tires I've ever used.I live at 9k feet in Colorado, and normally need studs for the mid winter ice, but didn't with these. They grip and handle really well on a front wheel drive Passat.I left them on for the summer because I was lazy, and wore them down pretty good, but could have easily gone another winter if I hadn't.They are not noisy, and balance really well. I drive 80 mph for two hour everyday and can't tolerate a vibration. These great tires... period.

Never lost traction.
I got these studded when I had them mounted. We had a couple of slippery snows this year 2024-25 in the Pittsburgh PA area. I was able to easily climb Hills that other people were slipping on. Straight highway driving was no issue. The tires are well balanced. I experienced no vibrations while traveling at highway speeds up to 75 mph on dry pavement.Since I had the tire studded I can't really comment on the highway noise. You know it's going to be loud with studs so get used to the sound of popcorn popping when you roll up on a stop sign. Once you reach highway speeds however there is a hum but it's tolerable.

Great value for money.
The car: 2020 Kia Niro, wheels aligned last week. The place: a parking lotThe conditions: 15⁰f, 1.5" of semi-packed snow. See photo.Just got these tires and mounted them last week. Got our first snowfall since, last night. To preface, I've had tons of different snow tires over the years. Nokian Hakka's, Gislaved's, Blizzak's, Michelin's, Goodyear's, General, Firestone, name it. The very best are the Nokian and the Gislaved, no contest. But, they can be hard to find and they're expensive. At $80 each, these are a no brainer.Take-off grip: 8/10.Stopping grip: 8/10Lateral grip: 9/10Several times, I got up to 30mph and stomped on the brakes. The car stopped in an adequately short distance every time.Getting going, I mashed the gas from a stop, letting the traction control do its thing, and got up to speed at a surprisingly quick rate each time. The tires really shine where I think it's most important, though: lateral hold. I took a hard 90⁰ turn at 15mpg 5 times, and the car simply went where I pointed it with almost zero drift.I took a 130⁰ turn at 35mph 5 times, with no noticeable drift whatsoever. This was most impressive.I would compare these tires to a Blizzak in terms of forward grip and stopping, and they're about $50 more per tire. In terms of lateral grip, I would compare them to a Hakka, which are more than twice the price. No idea how durable they'll be after dry pavement driving, but for snow they're worth the $80 price tag.

Great alternative to Blizzack
If your looking for cheap but fairly equal alternative to the great Blizzack, this is it. I've waited months for snow to write a review so here it is. I went through with the purchase of these after seeing a review from someone located in Buffalo, NY. I also reside in NY. I drove through two snow storms back to back with these bad boys strapped to the front of my car. My little sports car had no issues gripping through the thick wet snow. My only regret is I didn't have all 4 tires. I'm not sure if the tires are old stock, it simply doesn't matter to me. I had zero issues getting them balanced and as far as looks go the rubber looked shiny and new. I will end this with saying this is not a paid review, I just want someone else to have good snow tires for a decent price. Drift safely ladies and gents 🤘
