I ordered this cable to connect an ASUS T100 Transformer netbook up to a TV while away for a week on holiday. I had it loaded up with children's TV favourites for the inevitable moments when nothing else will do! At 0.9 metres long, the cable was the perfect length to plonk the netbook next to the TV and hook it up. It seems like a really good quality cable, with a nice chunky feel to it, and sturdy plugs at either end. The connections are gold-plated, which I think is probably more cosmetic than anything else with digital cables, but a nice touch nonetheless.Had absolutely no issues with the connectors themselves, fitting perfectly into the micro-HDMI socket on the netbook and the full-size HDMI socket on the TV. Likewise no issues with the video connection which was perfect. As you can see from my review photos, the cable comes with the BlueRigger Limited Lifetime Hardware Warranty, which is also reassuring, not that I think I'll need it. Great price at £4.99 given the apparent quality of the product.Item arrived quickly and very well packaged. Overall really pleased with the product, would highly recommend and definitely consider Blue Rigger products again.

Edit. Tried with our childs Kindle fire HD and it worked instantly and perfectly. Seems my Kindle has probably got a defective port, therefore 5 stars!I will keep the original review in as it may be a benificial diagnostic for anyone with KFHD experiencing the same problem!Came promptly, small enough packaging to fit through my letter box so no picking up from depot! Plugged it in to my Panasonic viera smart tv and... nothing.. un-plugged and plugged both ends of the cable and still nothing... then suddenly it worked, fantastic HD quality! Then I picked up my kindle fire and it went off, I have found once you lose the signal you have to unplug the cable and start again, you cant just waggle it to connect. So it seems the micro end of the cable does not fit snug enough to make a secure connection, it does the job but only if you have it working and leave it alone for say watching a film on Love Film, it's great for that but as soon as I move it the signal cuts out. Is it worth asking for a replacement? I dont know, because the build quality on inspection looks great, just beware with the Kindle fire HD.

I have a Lenova Yoga 2 Pro which has a micro HDMI port for connection. This BlueRigger connecting lead appears to be of good quality. Not the thickest of HDMI leads I have seen, but way better than the cheaper, very thin cables. It provides a good reproduction of picture, steady with no flickering, and fast connection. However, I found the micro HDMI connector too short. Or it could be that the micro HDMI port on the Lenova Yoga 2 Pro is too deep. The micro connector did not therefore seat itself adequately into the port to give a connection. I toyed with returning the item and then thought it was uncertain if any other make I ordered would not be the same. I decided to file down the rubber casing edges around the connector base, thereby exposing more of the connector. It looks unsightly, but it did the job. 4 stars instead of five because of this.

I bought this cable to link my Blackberry Playbook to my JVC TV and it works perfectly with no induced interference or blocking. It is one of the cheapest Micro HDMI to HDMI cables I could find with good reviews and it has not disappointed. There is no need to spend more on this sort of cable. Some of the available cables are sold at ridiculously high prices and the expense cannot be justified. Get one of these instead! It is well constructed looks nice.I have not tested the ethernet capability but I regard this as a bonus extra feature that I can use in the future if I re-assign the cable.
