This is my second BUREI watch, and although I love my first one, this watch is simply class !!As expected, the packaging is top notch, the watch itself looks simply stunning - but most importantly (for me at least) it keeps excellent time. Been wearing constantly for five days now and have checked it's accuracy in that time - gained a total of one second !!! I don't know how fussy most people are, but for me personally that is fantastic for a £50 watch !!! Would buy another in a heartbeat if I lost this one.The only thing that peeved me just a little is that it was on an Amazon lightning deal the day after I bought it for just £37.99 - ASTONISHING !!!!This watch punches way way way above it's weight for the price, so do yourself a favour and buy yourself one now or treat your special man to it.Oh, just for the record in case you are wandering that this review seems to be a bit OTT, I am an honest buyer who gives straight and honest opinions whenever I feel a product deserves it - whether that be good or bad.

I thought I'd review this watch because, like many products on Amazon now, most of the other reviews seem to be from people given a free or discounted product.I have a slight fascination with cheap/affordable watches and had seen the Burei brand pop-up quite regularly in various deals. This particular model really caught my eye. I would ordinarily avoid any gold whatsoever on a watch - something I associate with chavs and darts players, to be frank - but this, with its black dial and mid-brown leather strap, looked clean, crisp and understated (at least by modern watch standards).In reality the watch holds true to the pictures and certainly looks more expensive than its usual selling price here on Amazon. It's lightweight but seems pretty well made. On first impressions, my only criticisms would be that the strap is quite stiff (probably a good thing in the long-run) and, whilst its core is certainly leather, the crocodile finish appears to be a vinyl sewn over this. In fairness this does show in the product pictures and it is finished well. What isn't finished particularly well on my watch is the second, movable strap band - this is just a piece of said vinyl and has been sewn together misaligned (see picture). Overall, however, the watch looks great.As other reviews have shown, it is also presented well, with a nice box and gift bag. No free hair clip for me, sadly.The instruction manual reads well enough and it's pretty straight forward to set things up.Overall, I'm really impressed with the watch, especially when considering its price. Burei say they want to make great looking watches that are also affordable and, on this evidence, I'd say they're doing just that.As for whether it'll last - time will tell. But I have no reason to believe it won't. Not least because it's a quartz movement.My only other con would be that because Burei seem to operate a 'permanently discounted' price strategy, it's hard to tell whether I've got a good watch at a good price, an even better watch at an even better price or an ok watch at exactly what it's worth. Like many things, this will be for the consumer to decide for themselves and, whatever the case, I'm quite pleased with it.

In truth, I can't believe how lovely this watch is for the money (£25 lightning)... it is so elegant, classic, and absolutely beautiful. What's more, so far, it keeps perfect time - and the day/date function is easy to set as well.As others have said, it even comes with a tool to help you take links out if necessary (it might be cheapish, but it worked for me).I actually missed this one on the lightning deals a month or so ago (very annoyed) - and then the SM-13001-P51ER black faced one came up at £25, so I initially bought that. That too is a lovely looking watch - in fact, now I have bequeathed that one to my Wife, I think I might get another one :-)In truth, I don't know how they can knock these out for £29.99 anyway - as not only do you get a stunning watch, you also get the bracelet tool, a nice presentation case and a gift bag to put it in. Beautiful watch, every bit as good as it looks on the Amazon page. The watch arrived on time and very well packaged. The watch is of a reasonable weight (not too heavy but not light) and looks and feels fantastic. The watch came with a link tool to push out the link pins and worked well and made adjusting the strap very easy. The strap is quite unusual, in that it meets together and looks like a complete strap with no buckle once done up - nice touch.I took note of the need to adjust the time not between 9.00pm and 2.00am and adjustment was easy. The watch looks and feels high quality and the rose gold with the white face looks timeless. The only minor gripe I have is that the second hand doesn't always meet the face marks precisely, but I am a watch perfectionist and for the money the watch is otherwise superb. Highly recomend this watch and the seller.
