GROHE 27499000 Euphoria Shower Rail (600 mm)

I ordered this rail, the Euphoria shower head 110 mono and shower hose silverflex. I think this combination offers best quality and value combination. The rail has been criticised because it is stiff to adjust the angle of the shower head holder. Just use the leverage gained from the shower head and adjust gently. The ring adjuster only allows easy positioning up and down the rail. The shower head 110 mono gives a wonderful feel - like rain and is the lowest priced premium shower head because it has just one fixed setting. Suits us fine. The silver coloured hose looks good - be aware that Grohe sell a grey one which we don't like. So it took 10 mins to install in existing holes and works and looks a treat!

...as u can use the same holes because of the adjustability of the riser and bracketsI'm very pleased with this universal Shower Rail. It's sturdy and well-built. It's easy to adjust the shower head to the perfect position, and the adjustable bracket height is a great feature so u can just use the old holesI would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to replace an old 1!

Well made, easy to install, the issue with the tight movement of the shower head holder is a none issue for me, it moves fine with the shower head and it’s stiff but then it can hold a heavy shower head rigid, as far as I am concerned it’s perfectly fine. Overall a well made product which works and looks great

Replacing the original shower rail by using the same screw holes. The screws fasten the bracket and then a cover fits over that to mask the screw. The rail slides through a hole in the top bracket to allow the use of existing holes. Easy to fit and nice and sturdy. I think it’s a really good product maybe a bit expensive, I’m a bit tight, but I payed it and don’t regret it!

Sturdy, well made, flexible options in fitting the riser. Two things. The swivel mechanism needs to be fitted before you can test its swivel, by inserting the shower head. I'm not sure how long the swivel mechanism will last as you can neither tighten nor loosen it off. Clearer instructions in this respect would have been helpful.The other thing, the shower head receiver is narrower at one end than the other. This might be to accommodate different shower head sizes by switching it around but again unsure, as there's no instructions explaining why it's made this way.Overall, looks a quality product and the other thing I liked. you can contact Grohe for any technical issue and comes with a 5 year warranty.

Was suggested I buy this by my plumber for bathroom refurb. He made it look easy to install (though he was worried about cracking my newly installed wall tiles to drill holes!) I like that the height of the shower can be adjusted to suit myself, my teen and my younger daughter with just a turn of the easy adjusting knob. Not sure how to adjust (if it even does) the part where the shower head sits so you can change the direction of the shower spray (e.g. up or down) but currently it is ok for me. Looks nice and shiny and was great finally having a stand up shower in my bath; it’s the little things!

Good quality but a little on the pricey side. Our shower rail was an awkward inbetween length so we had to use 90cm rail to allow for adjustment, left with some overhang at top of rail. Dead easy to fit without drilling any new holes. Has renewed our shower, looks like new.

The product is easy to install. However, the mechanism does not allow for the shower head to tilt easy, it is very stiff and there is no way to adjust. I broke the shower head connector as I tried to gently change the tilt angle. The plastic snapped and it was a Grohe shower head. Really frustrating why the manufacturer would overlook such an important detail. I shall be replacing the rail.
