My son is obsessed with cars (specifically Disney Pixar) and I had previously purchased him the actual Mattel diecast set. After rough playing with them for months, I decided to search for a new set for Christmas. I wasn't paying attention to the fact that they weren't made by Mattel but the set was similar and had most of his favorites, unlike the original set where I had to purchase chick hicks etc separately. Anyways, I figured I'd wait and see if the price went down because 90 something bucks for a set of cars is ridiculous. No actual deal for the whole week of black Friday (amazon) nor cyber Monday. I thought maybe they would be good quality but not only is there a misspelled word right on thr gift box "NSIDE" in big letters on the actual box... but the quality of the cars were awful. The cars body is really lightweight and barely a metal... the bottom is a cheap plastic and the wheels/axel are not going to withstand any kind of consistent or rough play. Honestly, unless you're using these for cake toppers I do not recommend this gift set. It's embarrassing that the gift box is carelessly left as is (which would be cute if it wasn't obviously misprinted)... the cars roll but are of no comparison to the real deal from Mattel and can't be compared in any way. These are cheaply, very poorly made cars (which are a slight shade off from the actual colors of the pixar cars) and outrageously OVERPRICED to begin with. Save yourself the trouble and money and buy the real set and the ones not included separately. It will still probably be cheaper + good quality over this terrible version.

Bought for my son’s 5th birthday. He loves them. Definitely a great quality product. Not a cheap quality product at all. Would recommend them since they’re a sturdy little cars.

This set is pricey for (in my opinion) something that's not worth it. The cars just don't feel sturdy and I can tell they won't keep up with the wear and tear my 3 year old does with his cars. But they're cute and he loved them so ...
