Likes- nil dislikes -plenty. Instructions very poor, over complicated and sparse. Performance not worth 1 star really. It would not recognise astra 2 satellite which is the one for freesat in the UK. I realigned the dish but still no joy, it would only pick up 2 satellite which only offered lower quality than the Astra 2. I proved it was not the fault of the dish by connecting my previous freesat box and obtained a perfect signal straight away.The other problem was the hundreds of channels I now had to sort through to find the freesat ones I was used to, and I do mean hundreds. I tried to delete the scrambled ones but it seemed impossible so I gave up. I am sending it back for a refund and going back to my trusty Manhattan plaza. I only bought this for the Wi-Fi so I could get the on demand channels but that did not work either. Altogether a total waste of time and money if I do not get a full refund. Not recommended , do not buy, be warned.

This is a great little piece of tech BUT it takes some figuring out as the instruction book is somewhat limiting. For example, why was I not getting FreeSat in HD. The answer is because I hadn't found and set the right part of the menu which wasn't obvious. And recording onto a memory stick isn't straightforward to find and erase afterwards until you know how to do it. But once mastered, it does everything you'll need. It would have been 5 stars for overall performance but I'm giving just 4 due to limited instructions and no main isolation "off" switch. Persevere with this and you'll be delighted !

Connecting to the system was fine, picture quality is excellent, however, the actual set up is a nightmare. Instructions are printed so dark you cannot read them.Once connected, the channels are in no particular order My previous freesat boxes when load the channels in a relatively sensible order eg, BBC1, BBC2, ITV etc... this one the channels are totally random.Whilst the instruction booklet has a heading for channel selection, again, as a result of the terrible printing you cant read the instructions!For the moment Ive gone back to my old receiver until such time I can get someone to set it up for me.Failing that I will be returning the item :(PS, Have I missed an easy set up on this item????

Terrible user interface, Wifi capability seems pointless. Very hard to sort channels to suit you.

The product is fine mostly, although brand new a few buttons need a heavy press to get the desired action. Also, the instruction book needs reprinting as the illustrations are to dark to make out - I'm glad this one is a replacement for a much older model as I now know my way around the set-up procedure.

Product didn't work

Firstly I suspect that this was a previously returned unit. There were no batteries for the remote and the interface was midway through the set-up. Unless you know the LNB frequency and transponder output you need it will be impossible to get working. The instruction booklet is of no help at all!
