Appearance
The media could not be loaded. Really beautiful and looks the part! Doing the job as all fish are surviving!No predators,and blends in with the pond.Defenetly value for money.Good weight with a fixing.

I bought the Heron as my koi pond was getting the unwanted attention of real heron. Herons are solitary creatures so do not share well with other herons unless in the breeding season (spring). Unfortunately the fake heron was not effective as you can see in the photos. However, the heron has not reappeared in 12 months so maybe the fake heron has worked? I do have a net over the pond which protects the koi so I haven’t lost any to this emboldened heron. In conclusion, I continue to use the fake heron as part of the overall protection of the pond as it may deter some herons in the future.

He is awesome
I wanted a lifelike heron to keep the real herons away from my fishpond ..and he is a very real looking heron and looks beautiful in my garden .

Works but wobbly
Seems to have kept the heron away (albeit we have also installed netting) but it is very lightweight and easily falls over. It's a shame they haven't made the base weighted or possible to add your own weight (water or sand). Very top heavy too which doesn't help either.Pipe coming out of his bum....no idea why lol!
