Boys Victorian War Time Fancy Dress Costume - Evacuee - Large (Ages 10-12)

Arrived on time and used for world book day, the trousers and shirt were fine after I gave them an iron, slightly itchy shirt, in the words of my son but can be washed according to label, the hat was excellent, as was the tank top (defo iron it to soften it up though)

I bought this for my 10 yr old son (who is big for his age), for world book day. Thought the quality of the tank top was really good, but pants too thin. It fit him really well which surprised me (I got the biggest size). Would have been good if there was a gas mask box with this outfit. Am pleased with this as it was the cheapest online as well.

I bought this for my grandson who was dressing up for a visit to a WW2 war museum for school. The quality of the hat and v neck jumper is very good consider the price. The shirt and trouseres are very thin, but for just one days wearing it was fine. The size was true to size, and I even think that the hat and v neck could be worn again on the right occasion. So I would recommend this. I must admit my grandson did look cute, and I was thankful that he didn't have to be a real evacuee.

Unfortunately we got one that didn’t have the button holes cut through (just the stitching) and the collar was enormous so didn’t sit over the vest. Refund was arranged once I had informed them of the issues.

The cap and tank top really make this outift look authentic and are the best quality items. Whilst the shirt compliments the outift perfectly my son opted to wear a school shirt instead as he found it a bit scratchy. Similarly he wore jogging bottoms under the trousers as they are quite thin and it was worn to school on a winter day. This is why I’ve given four rather than five stars.

Wouldn't bother ordering. Really thin, bad quality. Shirt had a hole in it.

Top part of the costume ok but my son would not wear the trousers they were too flimsy and not something my 10 year old would even consider wearing
