Fun
Fun little toy. This is my son’s second one. I tend to use it to reach things myself haha.

Good claw
Her favorite toy for Christmas and also the cheapest. To top it off, it's really a tool for me to get toys out from under the couch. Decent quality, functions well.

It is what you would expect
Theis item is not 51 inches long like the picture states. My 4 yr old son plays with it often. Item is as expected. 20 inches long. Would not recommend for anyone younger than 4 yrs old unless that child has a good grip strength.

Useful!
My kid likes to hide his socks behind the sofa after he takes them off. This is great for grabbing them all. I’ve used it to grab things that fell behind the washer. To retrieve a shoe my kid flung to the top of the book case. Useful and fun!

Failed to work
This quit working in five months. One side of the claw would not grip. Had to throw it away could not be fixed. we only used it to get laundry out of a deep washing machine. Nothing heavy, nothing strenuous so I expected better.

Kids love these…
We’ve had this same one before and I was concerned that the new one might be a cheaper version. But nope, it works great and is fairly sturdy. I bought it for a (just turned) two year old and thought she would really love it but she’s not into it yet. But I’ve seen little boys become obsessed with these. If she doesn’t ever care about it, that’s fine because they’re really great at reaching things around the house when you need something like that.

Necessary Tool
I’ve written reviews for these in the past. I’ll keep writing them, I guess, because until I can find something better, I need these. I am facing bilateral knee, hip and shoulder replacements as well as rods & screws in my lower spine (L4/L5). As such, I am very mobility challenged. These grabber “toys” help me dress, allow me to do laundry, help me retrieve items I need once in bed at night (a lift recliner) and, basically, wherever I am sitting. I have tried the metal ones (for grownups), but those are unwieldy (too long, they don’t grasp with as much precision, they don’t fit well in my walker basket). When I first began purchasing these about 13-14 years ago, these were offered in a small, a medium, and a longer size; the ones I am reviewing are the long size. The medium size—the ones that work best for me because they fit my walker basket perfectly—are no longer produced (I haven’t found them in at least 7-9 years). I keep two of these at all times: one in the laundry room and one near me because they are cheap toys, essentially. And, each new one I purchase is more expensive than the one before it and the quality is worse, i.e., they break easier. I realize they are toys. For me, they are a necessary evil. If they lasted even just a little longer, I’d rate them higher.

Ridiculous, but the kids love it.
This dumb toy is such a hit😂. Any kid that comes over to play immediately goes for it. My son was obsessed with his cousin’s so I bought it for him for Christmas.Great option for inexpensive party gift when you’re not sure what kids have. Great for at least kids age 6-10.
