Easy to use and read
Very happy I got this and can monitor my cholesterol at home!

Not all test stripes machine can use are available.
You cannot get the HDL and Profile strips anymore for this item which makes it impossible to calculate any other numbers. You can only get total cholesterol and triglycerides strips anymore. You would need to get the Ciro L7 to get the full panel. I'm very disappointed but that's life.

Beware!
I am very frustrated. I am told in the literature that I need to keep my cholesterol at least below 70 and ideally 30 to keep from going back for another bypass. This meter will not read anything below 100. Now my 30 day window is past and I have wasted $130 dollars on this device. Also it is complicated to figure out how to use but once you do it is okay. Beware that the expiration date is less than a year from the time of purchase so don't buy extra boxes of strips up front like I did. My recommendation is to go with another manufacturer.

I have tried this device three times each time I have pricked all four fingers, and I don’t produce enough blood to run the test
