BGI PALMGAIN 10lb Bag Palm Tree Fertilizer, Ferns, Cycads, Ixora

First of all I have to say how quick BGI was in shipping the palmgain fertilizer. Secondly I hit every nursery, Lowe’s, Homedepot, Walmart, Armstrong, Orchard, and Bluehills nursery within 5 miles of my house. Not one of them had your product very disappointing, cause after reading all the reviews on your product you’d think these retailers would have their selves stocked with your various fertilizers. Anyway Amazon again to the rescue. Once I placed my order I knew I had a very small window in which to lay this fertilizer down on my palms, knowing very well the end of September is pretty much a cut off time to fertilize, but I’m counting on global warming to help me out ,lol, We just had a significant rainfall the last couple of days so I went out and turned my soil and the next day my 10lb bag of Palmgain arrived on time as usual via the Amazon delivery service.. Love the minute by minute tracking by the way, now I have segos in big pots medium size pots and in the ground. lots of coco palms 11 of those and to three head Kings and rubies.. The ratio table on the package made it so simple to apply to the trees and and potted palms. So as of today 10/15/18 they are now fed and now I just wait and pray the winter we have here is much like it was the last couple of years “year long summer”. I live here in California of coarse north Orange County to be exact, I am more than confident that I will be more than just satisfied with Palmgain, So when I am beside myself with joy that I nailed it with your product, I can and will have more to say.

I purchased this palm tree fertilizer after extensive research. I tend to do an in-depth assessment and read countless reviews before I commit to apply products to my Foxtail Palms which are not cheap. I found that not only did this fertilizer have excellent results, it is also very safe as it will not burn your palms. Also while searching for the best fertilizer I found that Palm Gain is recommended by the University of Florida IFAS (Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences). According to IFAS Palm Gain is a great fertilizer to use for palms, as it includes 100% control-release sources of N, K and Mg. All of the K is present as polymer coated sulfate of potash. All of the Mg is present as magnesium sulfate in the form of kieserite. Be smart and choose Palm Gain your palm trees will thank you.

I feed 8 LARGE various type in-ground Palms twice a year with this - excellent frond growth, new fronds twice a year, some types growing multiple stalks. I use 1.5 times their recommendation given I only do this twice a year. This fertilizer gets GREAT reviews in the landscape community. I measure out the correct 1.5 amount then pour it a foot away from the trunks/stalks then slightly dig it in so it won't wash away.

We’ve tried many fertilizers on our palms and we have seen very little improvement until we tried palm gain. We had a queen palm that had yellow and brown leaves on a monthly basis. Once we started using this, we haven’t had any more browning leaves and our tree is finally looking more full. It also worked on our bottle and Pygmy date palms. It’s a little more expensive but definitely worth it.

Our palms were looking yellow at the beginning of spring (we live in NE Florida). They're looking much greener now. A bit expensive but recommended by our landscaper.

I recently bought a foxtail palm about 8 ft tall. Planted in the front yard. During the initial planting from the landscape treated it with some fertilizer to alleviate shock. It was doing good for the first 4 weeks, but then the frawns started turning brown on the end of the leaves. I did some research and found that a 8-2-12 fertilizer was recommended. So i read the directions and gave the palm a good soak. From the reviews I have read I have high Hope's this will give my palm what it needs. Delivery was fast. Had it within 24 hours. I will update in a few weeks. Wish me luck!

I have using this fertilizer for years ! I can’t find it at Home Depot anymore… and my palms were getting a little lighter green . I found it here on Amazon and my palm trees are back to a nice happy dark green 😎🌴
