one of the best itx cooler
I recently upgraded my small form factor build with the ID-COOLING IS-55 ARGB White CPU cooler, and it has exceeded my expectations in both performance and design. Here's my detailed review:Design and CompatibilityThe IS-55’s low-profile design (only 57mm in height) is perfect for compact systems where space is a premium. It fits seamlessly into my ITX case, and the white finish adds a clean, modern look. The cooler is compatible with a wide range of Intel and AMD sockets, including Intel’s LGA1700, 1200, and 115x, and AMD’s AM4 and AM5, which adds to its versatility. If you're working with a small build, this cooler is an excellent choice.Cooling PerformanceThe IS-55 features five heat pipes and a 120mm PWM fan that delivers efficient heat dissipation, ensuring my CPU remains cool even under moderate load. While it's not designed for extreme overclocking, it easily handles daily tasks and moderate gaming or workload without any temperature spikes. It supports a maximum TDP of 125W, which is more than enough for most users.ARGB LightingOne of the standout features is the customizable ARGB lighting. The cooler’s lighting is vibrant and can be synchronized with your motherboard via a 5V 3-pin connector. This makes it easy to match the cooler’s lighting effects with the rest of your build, adding a stylish touch to your system. The ARGB looks especially good in darker cases, where the lighting can shine through more brightly.Installation and NoiseInstallation was a breeze. The mounting system is secure and straightforward, and it comes with clear instructions. The fan operates quietly, even under load, which is great if you value a quieter build. It’s perfect for users who want performance without the added noise.ConclusionOverall, the ID-COOLING IS-55 ARGB White CPU cooler is an excellent choice for anyone building a compact system. It offers solid cooling performance, easy installation, and an aesthetic touch with its ARGB lighting. Whether you're building a small HTPC or a high-performance SFF PC, this cooler offers a great balance of functionality and style. Highly recommended!

Excellent low-profile cooler for ITX
I bought this CPU cooler for my Formd T1 v2.5 build as the heatsink seems very dense, maximising cooling performance theoretically. The quality is excellent and what's more everything is matte black, which is very good for those that care about aesthetics. And with no logos, it allows for an extremely clean build. The included fan is whisper silent and seems to perform well, but I swapped this out to a standard 25mm fan as I still had room in my build running a 2 slot GPU. The package includes longer screws for standard thickness fans, though I found them to be slightly long, but this could be because of the particular fan. And a really important part: this is all for just over £30, which is very competitive given what it offers. An important thing to note is that it has a maximum 33mm RAM clearance, so this requires you to have very low profile RAM or no heatsinks. I opted to remove the heatsinks from my RAM. Alternatively, you can remove any I/O covers from your motherboard and run any height RAM. In the Formd T1 specifically, you should definitely orient it over the I/O instead of the RAM as otherwise one of the side struts will be in the way, reducing the effective space for the cooler (at least with AM4 mounting). On my board (Asus Strix B550I), this cover is just a plastic part and can be removed with a few screws, so it is just there for aesthetics anyway. I have no issue with any of these low clearances, as it really maximises the cooling you can get in small systems like the T1. Overall a very good product from a company providing quality at a low price.

I was dumb enough to put a 12700k and a 4070ti in a Silverstone SG13
Despite my suspicious life choices thermals are great even under load with only a small undervolt, idling at 28-30c, browsing at 32-40c, and stablising at around 75c in cyberpunk 2077 w/ray tracing and everything jacked up to high/ultra. Maybe replacing the included fan with a noctua would drop them a little further, but for me it won't be necessary. It does the job fine even though there is probably 1cm of space between it and the PSU (atx). For comparison I ran the cyberpunk with the stock intel cooler fitted with the same settings and it throttled during the character creation screenYou'll either need low profile RAM (I don't) or a motherboard that will let the radiator clear it on the I/O side, it just about manages that with the asrock b660m ac itx. Great cooler

Be very careful about motherboard and RAM clearance.
Quite a nice heatsink for a small ITX build, for me temperatures are fine but, then, a core i7-9700T is not going to stress it very much so I'm not best placed to assess cooling performance.DO watch out for case, RAM and motherboard clearance though - you really need RAM which 32mm or less or a board with no beefy VRM heatsinks or I/O cover - I have it on an Asrock Z370M-ITX/ac and it is perfectly OK, my RAM sticks are some TIMETEC DDR4 sticks without heat spreaders which are just 31mm high - though I mounted the heatsink with the overhang over the I/O area. Also check the case, even 55mm can be too much for a very tight ITX build.

Greater cooler and fits with my ram!
Great cooler and has paper-width clearance with my ram! (Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 16GB) Which stands at 34.9mm tall!Motherboard (MSI B650i Edge Wifi)Setup was simple and easy to understand, all the tools provided just work, thermal paste amount is also generous!Temps are amazing and looking forward to sticking this in a smaller case!

Not for Intel gaming PC's - not enough cooling
I installed this in my 5 Ghz Intel i9 gaming rig to see if it could replace my broken water cooling system but it was not able to remove the heat.Probably ok for AMD processors < 100 Watts but it struggles with the hotter Intel chips.

Great value
Saved some money and got this Used - Like New from Amazon Warehouse. Product is very clean apart from a little thermal paste which is easily cleaned up. All fittings were included so no problems there either. Dropped temps significantly, and noise a bit compared to Wraith Stealth cooler.
