Updated Review, delivered in one piece and worked after a second or two. So far so good. I now know these last for ages, my other bulb went in the bathroom, so I bought another two, so I have one spare. Well packaged by Amazon and both work just fine. The four-pin plug is an odd design, but the warm bright light these give off is just what I like in my kitchen and bathroom. Good value, obviously I recommend and would buy again.

I ordered this light fitting as a replacement for my bathroom light. It arrived promtly and was as described on the website. It is fit for purpose and I can therefore recommend this product.

This bulb would only work when the starter was removed (which I also replaced with a brand new S10 one from Phillips). I was not comfortable removing the starter permanently as it is surely there for a reason!When I had the starter installed with this bulb, the bulb just constantly flickered for about 5 minutes - I thought it might spring into action at some point, but gave up waiting.Fortunately, I had also bought another pack from a brand called TBE (Amazon product code: B096FR5PCP) and one of the bulbs in that pack worked fine with the new Phillips starter in place. Furthermore, this bulb came on instantly when I installed it, with the starter in place, and with no flickering whatsoever.So I don't know what was wrong with this bulb from Bell - it is the same spec as the TBE bulb so I can only assume the bulb was faulty in some way (although, as I say, it worked when the starter was removed).

Arrived undamaged and works as expected.Great as can't seem to buy in shops.

Got a few of these for replacements to the ones in our kitchen and landing for the units we had installed during our rewiring some years back.Unfortunately these are not giving out the same lumens as the originals we had. We have one of the original bulbs which is still going 10 years later and is still brighter than these bulbs.Sadly it is getting difficult to buy new 28kw Light Units as the halogen low-power consumption units are now being used, acvording tonour electrician who had to replace the unit in our bathroom.So these 4-pin 28kw bulbs will do till they are used up and then I'll get my electrician to install the new lighting units. (Which are thrown away to be replaced when their bulbs go!!!)

These bulbs are not made any more due, apparently, to the mercury content within them. A newer version bought in a shop just didn't fit snugly. Was very pleased to see this make still available online. Quick delivery and arrived in perfect condition.
