This is an Excellent Transplanting Trowel
This was just what I was looking for a even a bit more. It is sturdy and comfortable to use as well. It cleans easily and blade is marked in both inches and centimeters. This is quite helpful for those of us still liing in two worlds. I highly recommend this trowel.

Lovely tool
This is just the tool you need to plant daffodil and tulip bulbs in the autumn/winter. The right shape, it is stout and high-quality, and would be useful for transplanting small plants as well. I bought one as a present for my mother to replace the old tablespoon that I caught her planting her bulbs with, and she is delighted. I am considering buying one for myself...

Great for the garden and more....
I bought this trowel to use for planting bulbs, yet given its sturdy stainless steel build quality it is now part of my metal detector gear. Given the price and quality I bought an identical one for the garden. The tool itself, including the handle, is around 40cm long, and the wooden handle provides a solid grip. The blade is 15cm long, and has clear indented markings showing cm and inches. As expected the markings are referenced to the tip, and increase at 1cm intervals up to 10cm (and 1/2 inch intervals up to 4 inches). The cm and inches indications are to the left and right of the centerline respectively, which aids easy reading of depth. The stainless steel trowel is very high quality and strong.I have never had any Spear & Jackson tools, and I am impressed by the quality of this trowel.Highly recommended

Strong and hard wearing
Well, I wasn't expecting too much but was pleasantly surprisedIt's a narrow beast but very strong, with a sharp blade and a lovely feeling handle. For the price, we'll recommended. Looks like it's going to outlast me anyway
