I Brought this in red as a gift for my 5 year old great nephew, so have only given it a quick try out. I charged the battery up as I wanted it to be ready to use when it is opened. And have set it up. Was very easy to set language and date and time. Also put in an SD card and took a few photos to make sure it was working properly, as there would be nothing worse than a camera that did not work. The pictures I took seemed well exposed. The camera is very light so have brought a hard shell case for it, so if great nephew drops it, it stand some chance of surviving. Comes with a wrist strap and a little velvet pouch and a cable for charging.does not come with a mains plug so either needs to be charged via computer or you need a mains plug with a USB slot, these are readily available, but if you own a smart phone, tablet computer etc you probably have a mains plug with this facility anyway. Also you will need to buy a card for the camera. I had some spare SD cards so have put one in with the camera for great nephew. Some people when reviewing camera moan that SD card is not included and give it less stars for this reason, but this is the case with almost all cameras, even very expensive ones, All in all a really competitively priced camera which is very easy for a child to use and I know my great nephew will love it and it will also mean he leaves the expensive camera that his parents and also I have alone but will still be able to take his own photos.

Bought this for my 9 year old daughter so she has a camera she can use on holiday and to take pictures when she wants, looking for something simple and relatively cheaptakes good photos and easy to useshe's happy i'm happy simples

Lens broke couldn't be repaired.

Never thought I would buy a Digital camera but this one is great. I have only taken a few pictures so far but the screen is so handy for people like me who, getting older needs glasses to see something, but can take photo's on this camera without them. Though I do need them to view what I have taken. Not yet downloaded any yet but will need to check the instructions first as I will probably make a mistake if I don't, as I don't have a lot of computer experience.But as they say in their comments on this item, even a child could manage it.

Advertised as easy to use, got for my mum for holiday, she isnt great with technology but quite able, buttons small and light weight cheap quality, she never used it and it now doesnt work anyway. Rubbish

Bought as a first camera for our 10 year old. Easy to use, lightweight and user friendly, came with a little pouch too... but the camera itself is very poor. Focus is a BIG problem, unless the subject is perfectly still and zero wobble from the photographer, the thing will not focus. Also the white balance or something is very off making all pictures look very over exposed. Daughter loves it, but it is frustrating to see her struggling to get even one decent picture. Aside from focus and colour balance - this is a practical and user friendly camera

Best camera for the money

This camera is rather more than l expected as it was designed for an amateur, however there are plenty adjustments available and it is taking me a little while to cope. It certainly seems value for money and pleasant to use
