Winsor & Newton 3040802 Galeria Matt Varnish - 250ml

I use it on my model painted soldiers, it is very good.

Bought for matt finish on models. Brush use doesn't produce even finish on smooth surfaces.

Windsor & Newton have perfected these products and for that they demand a premium but I think it’s worth it.

Like another reviewer, my order had leaked in transit. About 30mls had leaked into the bag. Still lots left but a bit annoying having to clean off a newly arrived bottle. To be honest the container does appear quite cheap and has a poor seal.

Some Matt varnishes can be difficult, leaving ugly streaks and/or a very chalky appearance. This is the best I’ve found and I would buy it again. It also happens to be good value for money, making my happiness complete.

Arrived on time. Unfortunately burst slightly in transit and leaked into its little bag(all that was protecting it) Think the seal has gone but the varnish is fine and still happily using it without the lid. Pretty low odour for a varnish and goes on really well with a sponge brush. Washes out of said sponge easily too.

I used it for sealing in paint on my warhammer models and works like a charm. Additionally, it is 250mL which makes a great deal.

Does what it says on the tin, once on it slightly brings out darker colours, and isn't glossy. 2 gripes though - it comes out VERY quickly out the bottle so you have to be careful, and if you try to pour it slowly it just dribbles down the side of the bottle and then all over your hands and whatever is underneath. Secondly it gets tacky very quickly, so if applying to a painting use a large brush as quickly as possible as it gets very sticky and bobbly if you go over an area you went over 30 seconds before. So work quickly and have plenty of paper towels to hand!!

i thought this came in a form of paste but its actually liquid which is exactly what i need.thinned it 50/50 with saline and shot it out with my airbrush.perfect.

No puedo opinar sobre este producto ya que en vez de enviarme un barniz mate tal como viene en la descripción me han enviado un bote de fluido retardador... Un poco decepcionado por este error por parte de Amazon, no suele fallar mucho. Ya he pedido un remplazo. Actualizare mi opinión según si lo que me llega la próxima vez sea el producto correcto o no.

L'ho usato su un dipinto ad olio. Sono soddisfatto.
