Perfect for '99 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4.3L
No problems, fit perfectly and performs great! If I can't get Genuine GM parts then AC Delco/Delphi are the only replacement parts I will use, and they last much longer than the rest. I've used cheaper parts, there is a place for them, especially when you're in a situation, but they generally will never last as long as Genuine GM/AC Delco/Delphi parts. They are indisputably high quality parts and worth every penny, I wouldn't recommend anything else for a GM automobile. This thermostat has already had quite a few cycles and temperature stays around 208°F consistently and fluctuations in temperature a minimal but nothing out of the ordinary.

Correct fit
Perfect fit and finish. Previously installed 2 thermostats.from the parts store that had failed. Now at 20k on this one and no more overheating

OEM thermostat used on GM 4.3 liter V-6
I bought this to replace a bad thermostat on my 1996 Chevy Blazer, 4.3 liter V-6. This is an OEM Delco 195 degree thermostat. I have used 4 after market thermostats and none of them lasted more than 2 years. I read online that some 4.3 liter V-6s don't like other than OEM thermostats and at least for mine, that seems to be true.

ACDelco is Quality!
Installed in a 1997 K2500 Chevrolet Suburban with a 5.7L (350cid). Works great and the trucks gets up to temp again (its -40 here in Alaska today). I don't know why, but Chevy's do not like the other brands of thermostats, but I never have trouble with the ACDelco.
