Quality for less money
I have a 2010 Harley Ultra Classic with Rineharts on it. My wife and I love being able to communicate while on a ride. Voice is clear until about 68 or 70mph. You can still hear just fine, but that's probably where you'll need to pay dearly for a name brand unit. The only way to get clear sounding music with a little bass in it is of course ear buds. If you buy these get the extended warranty for sure. The headphone/microphone plug where they plug into the unit itself seems like it will be the only problem with this unit.

Good product!
Good replacement mic. Our other one got packed with snow while snowmobiling but we had it for a while before that happened and we haven't had any problems before or after that. The speakers sound good and work great. Fit great into most helmets!

Hard to pair, audio not good, and not compatible with other Freedcon units.
Like all Freedcon intercoms, it is a several step process to connect helmets on every single trip, not just the initial pairing. Its not intuitive at all. These always took referring to the manual or YouTube videos and several attempts to finally get comms connected to eachother. Sometimes it would take 20mins just to pair. I'm 41yrs old, so I've been pairing shit for over 20 years now. Connecting 2 helmets with the same units shouldnt be this complicated. They're also not compatible with other Freedcon units, which was the only reason I even ordered these.Sound quality is tinny. They are setup for voice only. For music you only get the highs of a song, there's no mids or lows at all. No EQ adjustment options.Returned these and bought XGP Comms instead. Those simply require turning power on and then pressing intercom button. Much easier to connect and talk to a passenger, but audio is also lacking any depth.I have spent enough on budget helmet intercoms that I could've bought Sena or Cardo's by now, but so far the XGP Comms have been the best budget option. My advice, if you're a new rider or have a tight budget, buy the XGP's for just a passenger, or splurge on a reputable brand for group rides. Stay away from Freedcon, even if that's what your buddies are using.
