Very strong and easy to use
The best fixings ever and does carry heavy loads. I used it to fix cupboards, shelves, TV units and my TV itself all on plaster boards!! made my life easier. Highly recommended!

The best bar none.
Came across these on Amazon, although I didn't buy them on Amazon this time I can say I have been using them for years and they are hands down the best fixing for heavy loads on plasterboard. I have used them on everything from radiators to door jambs, TV's and projectors, Club lighting like moving heads and anything else you can think of. They have never let me down, if you have not used them before don't let the plastic zip put you off it is only used to hold the steel brace in place until you get an M6 bolt into it, it snaps off once you locate the brace behind the plasterboard. Your connection is directly between the bolt and the steel brace, unlike a traditional toggle which relies in a flimsy pin that joins the two wings of the toggle which the bolt passes through these are a folded steel brace that is C shaped in profile and has a hole with M6 thread in the middle so unless you strip the threads or pull the whole thing through the wall they are not coming out. They can be used on all kinds of surfaces not just plasterboard, for example ply lined walls or ceilings when you require a bolt fixing as opposed to a screw and similarly on block or old lat and mortar walls. Its best to ensure that the hole you drill for the fixing is large enough that you can comfortably pass the brace (which is angled flat in line with the plastic zip ties for insertion) through without damaging the integrity of the plasterboard around the hole. A clean hole in the plasterboard will give you a much stronger fixing. I have literally hung my own weight from one of these in a double slabbed (plasterboarded) ceiling to test it when hanging moving heads in a club.Just to be clear I have no affiliation with toggler the manufacturer but once I saw them here I said I would write a review as god knows they have got me out or many holes through the years. Great design, great product, if you ever have to mount anything to walls or ceilings you should have them in the van.

Use nothing else for plaster board walls
Brilliant idea, so easy to use, very strong fixings for any conceivable item to be fixed to plasterboard wall. You will need to provide your own bolts though.
