These lights may be fine and the only reason I pick them is because we have limited space in that part of the ceiling. But there are other and better choices. These require an extra wire (16/2 dimmer cable) and a special 0-10v dimmer which is way more expensive. I do not recommend these and it's better to get a thin recessed lighting tha does not require the extra wire and special dimmer. These lights are also more expensive that the regular ones. Think carefully before you get these! I know I will not repeat the mistake.

This product looks exactly like a different part number beginning with "LT" but which appears the same in every way including using the QuickLink moniker. If you're installing a QuickLink system made by Halo, it's crucial that you know which version you have before you buy these add-on lights. I had to return a light bought at a big box store that would not dim and it was customer service that identified the problem. Halo should have made this obvious to the buyer at the point of purchase. I do love the way they install and it definitely saves time. The appearance is perfect for my needs.

Don’t buy this product. They are low voltage and do not dim with a std dimmer switch. Additional wiring required. Don’t buy it.
