Good product
Nice product for diffusing your LEDs and provides a more professional look than just sticking the straps to a surface, particularly in visible areas. Easy to use and cut.

Easy to fit
Easy to fit and set up with the Philips hue light strips. The only thing is the defuser plastic is very thin, so take care when slotting as they can bend.

Amazing customer service
Love the product! I have been searching for the perfect profile for my Philips hue and found it! I drilled through the profile and attached it directly to the underlying surface, but used electrical tape over it to isolate (even though the light strips are already isolated). To make sure the align properly I put a piece of wood (about 10cm) interconnecting two pieces to each other and this made it easier to mount it straight. The wood pieces need to be exactly the same width as the profile. You could probably also cut small pieces of the diffuser and put it in between the lengths to keep it straight while mounting. However, the best part of this purchase was that I accidentally placed my first order to deliver to my last address (2 hours away) and realized it last minute when about to pick up the delivery. Long story short nothing could be done (the post services fault!) and the seller helped me to come in contact with the right support at Amazon. Ultimately the package was returned and the money was refunded, and I could place the order again (only had to pay 1 dollar more in total!) and i got my package 7 days later. I am just happy everything went so smooth with Amazon and the seller throughout this whole process. Would definitely recommend!

Improves the look of LED strip lights
The aluminium channels are easy to install, small metal clips are secured first and the aluminium channel clips in, no need to align up so can slide and adjust its position after the clips are installed. No tracks inside the profile, while this means it’s more universal on strip sizing it does mean rather than slide the LED strip into a channel or grooves inside the profile you need to stick it using the double sided tape that comes on the LED strip light. As can be seen from the photos you get some diffusion but not complete-diffusion from the LED chips. COB Lighting strip obviously gives a non-spotted LED light and the profilejust diffuser further and takes some of the harshness. The best thing about the profile is if your LED strip is on view, and not hidden behind furniture the aluminium profile gives a beater look to it when they are turned off. This does come at a price, and the profiles cost more than most LED strip lights. No issues however on the overall quality, easy to install and comes with all the fittings.

Great covers
These strips are well made and fit the phillips hue strip lights well. They don't diffuse the light as much as i hoped but the phillips leds are very far apart so make it harder to diffuse but if you have then a bit further back from the wall they are ok.

You cant put two in a line
I’ve used these as up lighters in our conservatory as every time I try gluing up my 5050 lights, they just fall off due to the heat that builds up during the day.these have worked well in the sense that i can screw these into the walls then stick the lights in but for me there is one missing thing. There is no nice way to connect these together in a line. You get two bends that worked but I just need two of these in a straight line before the bendI’ve tried everything to get them to connect together but nothing works that keeps them in line nicely. The only way would fabricate some metal to fit in the channel perfectly across the two.So if you want separate strips this is up your street but if like me you want a line. Avoid them

An upgrade for LED strips.
I do like the LED lightstrips, but they do have a tendency to peel and nobody is ever going to argue they look classy. This is a solution to that - little self adhesive aluminium channels for the strip. with translucent panels that give a neon effect. They do look nice when up, but of course theres an issue there that your turning what was originallly a cheap lighting option into something more costly: When you add up all the expense, it might be cheaper to look at another option. However, you do get 6m here, complete with corner connectors, which should be enough to do a kitchen, for instance. Easy enough to cut to length hith a hacksaw, simple to mount.
