I am pleased to provide candid feedback on the Bubble Bath Mat, an item I recently purchased from Venturi via Amazon.com.Each morning, moments after my alarm catapults me from the depths of sleep, I stagger into my bathroom feeling tired, hazy, and at times, disoriented. I proceed to strip down nude, after which I casually I step into my bathtub. This is the moment when my feet land upon the soft supple rubber of this Bubble Bath Mat.As the hot water rains down upon my body, my feet are stable and secure, as this bath mat provides the foundation that I need for a safe and carefree showering experience. I proceed to shampoo my hair, rinse, then lather my body with soap and, finally, rinse from head to toe, all the while maintaining optimum balance as I stand anchored upon this bath mat.I have slipped a total of zero times since I installed this oval-shaped piece of rubber. In fact, I haven't even lost my footing or come close to falling or collapsing.One of this mat's most useful features is the series of evenly spaced suction cups on its bottom side. This mat will remain firmly adhered to the surface of your bathtub. And better yet, the length of time for which the suction effect can be maintained is seemingly infinite.In summary, I would describe this Bubble Bath Mat as well-built and reliable, as well as calming. Its reasonable price makes it a great value and worthwhile investment. Take a shower and stand on this mat, and enjoy your shower to the fullest extent possible.

We recently moved into our new apartment that came with one of the solid white suction bath mats, which did a pretty good job of covering the peeling paint in the old bathtub, but always felt kind of gross to use after every shower.While it was good to have something there at all, we knew we definitely need a new one that wouldn't be as prone to mold or get hair caught underneath so easily.At first we weren't sure about how durable this mat would be, but the moment I set it in the tub I knew we'd made a good choice. It is see through so some of the peeling shows through, but the color and design totally worked for us. Most importantly it felt so secure moving around on. The old mat was secure as well, but we could really tell the difference with this one and felt as if there was some extra grip to it.The material is solid and though it does have a bit of the new-rubber odor to it, it only lasted a few days.I would highly recommend this mat to anyone looking for a new one. It's super sturdy and even adds a splash of color to the tub ^.^

Just the right size for the tub. Not one of those teeny tiny mats, and not one that covers the entire tub. Suction works well, easy to stand on, and I think it'll be easy to keep clean. We remove from tub each time after use so I can't speak to any type of mildew or mold issues. Good value for the price paid.

I'd been looking for months for a good bath mat for the tub I bathe my toddler in - the tub's got nonskid sticky things on the bottom that are scratchy, and I needed a mat that was soft to put over them. This mat is perfect - it has about a million small suction cups that hold it down firmly, and the surface is nice and soft. I can't say I'd use this mat to shower with though - get a nonslip mat for that. But for bathing kids, it works great. I hang it up, suction-cup-side out, after every use and haven't had any mold or mildew (I got the clear mat, and it's been almost 6 months in use). Works for us!!

I have an older tub and this sticks well and works successfully to keep you from slipping. It does however has a strong chemical plastic smell that has lingered for a week, even though it has been used every day and cleaned. It would hurt your feet if you had to stand on it for a long period of time but just daily showering is not uncomfortable.

Many of us, especially ladies, like a little oasis in our busy lives. Mine is the bath, the one place I can escape from the world for a few minutes. However, like many people, I don't have a fancy tub, or a lot of money to spare. This mat is not being used for kids / toddlers / babies or anything like that. Just for me & my guy.I bought this mat with a little trepidation...some of the reviews here made me think the mat was of poor quality. I decided for the price, I would try it and I'm very pleased with what I found. Maybe I got lucky and bought a mat from a newer batch.The smell: very, very slight and dissipated within a few hours. It didn't permeate throughout my little bathroom.The feel: not too nubbly, but very comfortable. Certainly better to sit on than the standard mats I've gotten over the years.The look: I got the clear version and it is lovely in the bathtub. Hides any flaws. Isn't too big (I was worried that it would be too big), and fits nicely in a standard bathtub. Furthermore, the "curl" wasn't there. I took it out of its package, rinsed it off well, and stuck it to the floor of the tub. No curling there...it is lying flat.I think it's a great little investment for the price. It's attractive and looks well made. I wouldn't turn away from this product.
