Great product, buying more.
At first I didn't think this would work when a couple of woodlice walked around it. However I got up the next morning and found a few woodlice stuck and dead on the surface plus a spider which looked a bit different to normal. I did think it was a false widow but I now think it looks like a woodlice spider (apt since my damp mouldy bathroom seems to breed them until it is refurbished this May) and reading up about them they are said to give a nasty bite as they have such powerful jaws. Oh my God, I've been wandering around in bare feet. I tend to react badly to bites so this could have been serious for me. The next morning after that I woke up to find another one of these spiders. It tell you what, I'm just going to order a load more of these things. They come flat packed and you peel off the paper covering the sticky surface, fold it into a triangle shape with the sticky surface inside, tucking in the top edge and it's all about where you put it. Put it where the creatures would naturally walk, eg mine is right next to the bath panel on the floor. I am so glad I bought these traps, I think I'm going to put them all round the house. Don't touch the sticky surface it really is massively sticky. I'm not sure if the sticky stuff contains an insecticide but the creatures were dead when I found them (thank goodness as it's a while till my fiance comes here to visit me) Even for an arachnaphobe like me I managed to pick up the trap (helped by there being no movement by the bugs) as the closing part acts like a handle and I put it into a carrier bag and into the outside dustbin. I'm going to end up being an expert on spiders soon! Photos attached. If an expert can confirm the type of spiders I'd be grateful, my ID was from trawling ~Google images.

Seem to work pretty well - great price
I don't exactly have a spider problem but I live in an old house and have seen a few since I moved in. Brought these to see if I could catch some and monitor how many there are.I've had the traps some 3 months now and have tried different positions I the house and have actually caught some small spiders, wood lice and a large spider. One thing I would say is if left in an open area or behind furniture the traps quickly catch dust which decreases their effectiveness over time. For the money though you can't complain, and if you have a really bad spider phobia then these might give you a little piece of mind.

Reasonably good
Don't expect too much from this product although I have re-ordered it. I have caught several large spiders but I have also seen spiders walk over the trap. Perhaps some traps are stickier than others.

Waste of money!!!
Waste of money!!! It will work only if your flat is full of spider or crawling insects so they will get inside by accident.

I can now sleep at night
Fantastic product. We were warned when we viewed the house that there were a few big spiders, so i bought a spray repellent and finished the bottle the day we moved in. This worked for a while and i only ever saw small ones, which i can trap and release outside fairly calmly. A few months later a big one scuttled across the living room and hid under the sofa, so i bought these traps. We came back off holiday to find 4 different spiders of various sizes dead in the trap. I like to forget about the traps until they are quite full and then I'll replace them with new ones, but the most I've counted on one was 8 spiders and a few small bugs. The bigger ones do stay alive for a while and i keep tabs on those ones until they die. We did have one very big escapee that survived 2 weeks and then vanished. I couldn't rest, but a day later he was back in the trap and now i feel sorry for them. My advice would be as soon as you catch a big one, throw the trap straight out and replace it. I fear our guests are getting a bit clever and ive got 2 (one upstairs, one downstairs) that are hanging off the edge trying to pull themselves free. If it wasn't for purchasing this device, I'm pretty sure we'd have moved out. You'll be shocked to see who you share your house with. I would recommend these to anyone and i think it's a small price to pay to reduce the number of spiders you live with.

They work
I found they do a very good job of trapping spiders. We see less on the floors.

They work
Like many others we've had far more spiders in the house lately, and some really big ones too. The kind that stop what they're doing and turn around to look at you when you walk in the room... I actually don't mind a few discrete spiders around, they help clear up other pests, but the recent population explosion we've had is too much.Lots of thorough dusting, cleaning and vacuuming has helped, but I decided to try these. I've only put one down so far, against the skirting board under a sideboard, and I've already caught another whopper, so they most certainly do work. If people aren't catching anything, they either no longer have a problem, or they are putting them down in the wrong place, try moving them elsewhere. The ones I have are really sticky to the touch, if anything is managing to unstick itself from these and escape then I'm happy with that because I definitely do not want to meet it.
