Worth every penny!
Received very quickly less than 2 days after ordering thank you! I’ve allowed 2 weeks since receiving to review. I cannot express enough how glad I am that I bought this I was dubious about the price of electric litter boxes and did my research. This came out top of all the more realistically priced boxes. I have two young cats, one took to the litter box immediately one was terrified but after 3 days took to using it and hasnt looked back since. I helped her to transition by rewards treats and play going near the litter box then after a day stopped emptying the old litter box (stinky but worth it) and she opted for a cleaner toilet in the end. Dont rush this stage take time so cat doesn’t feel forced you dont want any accidents on the floor! The app works i havent had any issues at all and weighs my cats and i can add details and photos of them in the app so I know who used the toilet and when. The box itself is roomy enough for most cats and it is so quiet you hardly hear it.I can use ordinary composting bags or small pedal bin liners and hook handles underneath the bin so is very easy and cheap to replace the bags.I use a fine clumping well known cat litter and this works great.Odour wise it does a brilliant job of removing smells from the room obviously you are going to have some smell when in use but soon after when cycle clean kicks in the air is cleared. No more coming home from work to a stinking litter tray!I do choose to emty bin every day though as i have a strong sense of smell!I can honestly say this has changed my life and I am enjoying my cats to the full, they enjoy their litter box too and a constantly clean toilet. If you are thinking of buying one of these do not hesitate you won’t regret it!

Best robot litter tray!
I bought this litter tray 6 months ago when I moved to a flat as my cat was becoming an indoor only cat. She immediately preferred using this to her "regular" litter trays. I waited until she was used to the litter tray before setting it up on an automatic clean 15 mins after she used it, there's no closing door so if it didn't recognise she was in there she would be able to jump out safely unlike some others on the market. The litter tray eliminates all smells, friends and family have commented that there's no cat smell in my flat and I'm sure this litter tray is the main reason. I love not having to scoop poo multiple times a day! Emptying and changing the litter is easy, it is not the easiest to clean inside, however the other benefits make this such a minor con. The phone app is easy to use once it's set up. I highly recommend this litter tray

Faulty
I did extensive research before buying this product and it really did seem to be the best on the market for under £300. It was a lot of money to spend and it would have been worth it if it did what it meant to. However instead of making my life easier it was actually harder as the robot didn’t clean all the soiled litter away, there was actually waste hanging from the inner tray at times. The last straw was when it stopped working mid cycle one day when I was out at work leaving my cats without a toilet for the rest of the day, so there was mess on my carpet when I came home! There was no apparent reason for this as when I switched it off and on again it started working again. Also very difficult to clean as you can’t take the top off without taking the whole thing apart which is a massive job with it being very large and heavy. The instructions said you only had to clean the whole thing out once every 1 to 3 months but mine was completely filthy after a week and I only have two cats. I may well of had a faulty model but this has completely put me off buying another self cleaning litter tray.Have now returned and had full refund.

It works, it's safe, is SO easy, and has room for BIG cats!
Received our machine beginning of December, its currently the middle of January, and I'm already planning on buying a second. I really wish I'd taken the plunge and bought one sooner!Dealing with the elephant in the room - safety - first. A lot of people have heard about the videos questioning the safety of automatic litter boxes, THIS IS ONE OF THE SAFE ONES! The emptying mechanism is side-to-side, so there is no door for a cat to be caught in.The pinch and weight sensors work - ours sometimes takes a few goes to get through a full cycle because some of our nosier cats are fascinated with their poop being stolen, and keep sticking their heads in the box to see what it's doing, which interrupts the cleaning cycle, which, to be fair, is exactly what's supposed to happen. Its very easy to set up, and very easy to use. Most of our cats (we have 9) took to it straight away, we do have one kitty who still prefers open top trays, (she's a tripod) but even she's used it on occasion. One of our cats is a *good* 16lb/7 kilos, and she can get in, move round inside, and pee without it coming out the front. Another 2 are 14-15lb/around 6kg, and they can actually both fit in the box at the same time - they've tried. The app is also pretty good at keeping track of which cat is using it at a time, although the only downside is you can only "allocate" 6 cats, and if 2 are similar enough weights, it'll record as the same cat - *slightly* concerning when it looks like your elderly male cat is peeing twice as much as any of the others until you realise one of the others weighs exactly the same as he does, so the box thinks they're one cat. (Even the boxes with a camera wouldn't necessarily fix this issue in my case, as they're both very similar looking black cats!)It is *so* much easier than constantly scooping poop! We change the bag every other day, but that's due to the number of cats - one bag could easily last a week if you have 2 or 3 cats. For the most part, it keeps smells in quite well - I've only noticed a bit of a smell when the bag is full, and a cleaning cycle runs.It came with everything you need, apart from litter, straight out the box, including the litter bags, two deodorising blocks, and a very large litter mat. It also comes with a clip-on pee guard for the front entrance. Your mileage may vary as to whether you need this; as, whilst it *does* stop most spraying out the front, it raises the entrance height, which may make it more difficult for older or arthritic cars to get in.The litter you use *must* be clumping for the box to work - I'd personally recommend corn or Tofu litter, and to introduce your cats to the litter first. I've found clay litters make more mess, and necessitate a full cleaning of the drum more often - with the Tofu and corn litters, there's very little stuck so you can just give it a quick wipe down with a cloth and pet-safe disinfectant every week or so. Clay needed scrubbing after about 2 days!
