DermaScienceMedihoney Antibacterial Wound Gel 10g

Thought I'd try this as I've used the barrier cream months ago recommended by a friend that's a nurse. Anyway the open wound has healed up after applying this 3 times a day for 3 days. Once it's open it's open but I've kept it in a ziplock bag. It's also difficult to get out the tube I've left it near an electric heater to warm it up so it comes out easier.

Abserloutly AMAZING stuff !!! Really recomend using this to everyone. I have a Vericous Ulcer on the inside of my ancle, which ive had previously many years ago and took forever to heal. My ulcer has got to a stage which it is inflamed, red, sore and i was sick of it not getting any better by using other things perscribed by the doctor, 5wks in ? So i looked online to see if i could get anything to releve the pain and to just help it get better as i no from having them before they can take a good few months, if not more to clear up & heal. I came across someone writting a review on using this Manuka medihoney on ulcers, which good feedback was given... So i thought id but a small tube to test and try... The best thing i could have ever bought EVER !!!!! Its truly mind blowing, coz i never ever ever think that it would work as well as it as done, blown me away. Im now on my 3rd day on applying it every morning under a padded dressing - which im only changing daily due to it leaking abit. The 3rd day in and all the red area as calmed down and gon t a fleshy pink colour, even the area looks abit smaller to... CRAZY ... As its worked so well i thought id try it on a few red patches i have on the bottom half of my legs, which is vericous eczema and been there for some time, not quite healed up. I tried it on 3 areas of red little spot patches, the day after the red had faded really well, totally took me back !! When people read this review they most likley think yeh yeh as if its that good... but honest im thrilled with my results couldnt have wished for anythin better to use. Ive only got 1 tiny downfall which is most likley down to the state of my ulcer been raw i think, which is when i apply the gel it stings like mad for abut an hour after... But if thats all it takes i can no doubt live with this by far, its not even worth losing any stars !! Defenatley worth the full 5 Stars. Just to add also that this tube would be better by having a screw on cap as it as a pull off top which cant be replaced back on the tube to keep it sealed up ! Im ready now t purchase a bigger tube so it can last longer and i will defenatley keep in the 1st aid box for other things that come up in the future. Will def spread the word how amazing this stuff is ? I wud lov t no if the Medihoney derma barrier cream works just as well on other areas not as raw as my ulcer, so any feedback please let me no.... AMAZING ALLROUND.... Oh and just to state yes it is a little sticky to use but hey it is honey after all, so its bound to be sticky.

Hard dried up product, no instructions in english, hard to open, couldn’t be reclosed - bought for a relative in need - have wasted 3 days whilst we source a better productVERY POOR

They used this at the hospital on my arm after a severe dog bite, when they removed the stitches the sound opened up again, they could not restitch it. I was amazed at the outcome. Would recommend

Im not the one to complain but the tube was almost empty? Used twice today and almost all gone already.As for the quality I can't say much but I did feel a relief on my open wound.

Tried this v small quantity for minor wounds and it worked well.. I found a mere smear worked less well than a thicker application.Also found it was easier to use when cool- ran away with itself when too warm! Incredibly sticky - as you might expect I suppose. Probably best covered with some sort of dressing - a plaster was fine for me. I'd buy it again when needed.

Very difficult to squeeze the product out of the tube. Using product for skin around finger nails.
