True coffee
Very strong and very flavoured.I grind it on the spot before doing the coffee and the smell alone wakes you up.

Size of packets
Good beans, decent coffee but a tad over priced.

All the depth is in the aroma instead of the taste.
This 4 pack of Starbucks Medium Roast beans arrives in a branded brown cardboard box measuring 38cm x 23cm x just over 13cm.There is a best before date on the large barcode sticker on one side of the box - mine read 06/02/24, so plenty of time to be used. This is 100% Arabica coffee, which I normally enjoy, but this just didn't do anything good for me.It had an amazing aroma, it looked the part in the cup, but the flavour & the way it flows over your tongue was somehow just lacking the depth or underlying richness I was expecting. There was a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste.I have used other beans from the brand which were vastly better than this, so perhaps I just got a bad batch. While it's well packaged from a recognisable brand it just didn't have what my coffee loving taste buds were craving for.

Single origin beans….
I rather like the idea of the beans from a single ‘farm’. I do so hope that’s what it means! I was unaware that I could buy ’Starbucks’ coffee beans, but an alliance with Nestles means they are readily available and a good job too!The coffee, rated at a 7, is rather nice, and the fact it comes in four packs means it stays fresher that much longer. The brew is a very good cup of coffee, I’m not going to go on about different colours of flavour just suffice it to say it is a very satisfying brew. My bean to cup machine makes easy work of the grind, emitting that wonderful aroma and the end product is well worth the wait. I’m not altogether sure the price is good, but the quality is there and the Starbucks Nestles name probably ensures it stays consistent. Despite the price, I am going with five star(bucks).JC
