I purchased this product in Feb23. I knew it was a cheap watch, and I was not disappointed. That is fine. But when it stopped working in Nov23 I looked to see what type of battery it takes. The product specifications clearly state it takes LR44 batteries. When I bought a pack, I found that they are 10x the size of the battery in the watch. I had a couple of the really cheap pocket watches of this same sort purchased on a site known for cheap goods. One of them had a malfunction and I needed a replacement quickly as these were gifts, so I ordered this one. It was noticeably better made and heftier than those from the other site. However, I had a lot of trouble engraving it. I am not sure if it is the rounded case cover, or something with the metal or its coating, but the engraving I did myself went poorly. For the price, this isn't bad as a gift for a kid (which was my purpose), but if you want something that is more of a conversation piece, collectable, or even an heirloom, this is not it. And if you are planning to engrave it yourself, you may run into issues.
