Petlife Safebed Paper Wool ,White,Animal Bedding Sachet for Small Pet

For 6 years I have been buying this paper for my hamsters. I put it in the place where the hamster sleeps. Sometimes the quality of the paper is super and the paper is white, and sometimes it is darker and then I like the quality less. But I still buy this paper because I find it very convenient to use and my hamsters really like it.

Easy to use and easy to replace without undue mess?

Had to buy 3 of these packs to benefit from offer. It's not a large bag but with a Hamster a little goes a long way. He seemed very happy, chomping it up into his cheek pouches before scuttling off to arrange & tidy his bed more comfortably, then slept like a lil' log:-) Doesn't appear dusty, in fact very fresh, clean with fairly soft paper strips.

It does require you to pull apart some of the strands that get lumped together, but apart I'm that my hamster loves it. Very easy to construct a nest out of and seems to keep her warm enough.. Also does not harm her cheek pouches if she decides to carry it around

The only safe 'cosy' bedding. I've used it for several Syrian hamsters over the years. I fill my hamsters nesting box with it and also scatter some around his enclosure so he can pouch it and take it to his nest himself. Most soft beddings are dangerous but Safebed is fine because it's low dust, won't get stuck on a hamsters limbs, and dissolves when wet so wouldn't cause intestinal obstruction.I do like to rip the strands in to shorter pieces just to be sure they won't get wrapped around my hamsters limbs, but I think a hamster would just be able to rip the tissue off if this happened.I would definitely recommend Safebed because the other 'cosy' beddings are dangerous. Cotton wool style bedding, Kapok, and other fluffy materials are very dangerous, even though they're natural. The fibres are thin and long so they can easily wrap around limbs and cut off circulation, and they won't dissolve in a hamsters stomach so they can cause fatal blockages. Safebed is the only cosy bedding I would ever use.

It’s a good price here on Amazon as can cost double that in pet shops. My syrian hamster loves this as his nest bedding, very warm and cosy and easier than shredding up toilet tissue all the time, I like to a pack of this in stock and it lasts surprisingly long.

Little bit not so soft. But great quality and good value for money.
