Q: How is the tilt function supposed to work? Its either too loose or too tight. The little dimple ball stopper thing doesnt seem to be doing anything..

First Question (Tilt Function Usage): 1. Tighten both screws until the drum is in a horizontal position. 2. Loosen the ball head screws on the left and right sides by about 1/4 turn, allowing the drum and bracket to be partially locked but not too loose. 3. Use your hand to move the control box/drum inward, adjusting the angle of the drum to your desired position and allowing it to self-lock. 4. For safety, tighten the screws on both the left and right sides. To reverse the drum to a horizontal position, follow the same steps in reverse order. Second Question: Your question is quite technical, and the ball stopper does not function in the way you've described. Let me explain the purpose of the ball stopper: 1. It positions the unit horizontally. 2. It prevents excessive friction between the bracket block and the drum block, which could scratch the drum block.
