I been running track since I was 12. I been to every major stage in track and field, except the Olympic games, didn't make the team. All to say i'v had and seen my fair share of running, trainning, meets, equipment and spikes. And the only issue or discomfort I ever really had with spikes is the initial snugness of new spikes. There Never really comfortable or are thet meant to be. But these were like soooo stiff and ridged on the sole, unusually stiff and tough.. I can't almost appreciate he ground contact but it felt like I was running on plywood, this the frist for me, felt weird.Other than that, the sizing is great. They look great, really lightweight. the quality feel just feels off, I felt like their wouls fall apart while sprinting, somthing you expect from an $20 pair of spikes from a no name company to produce, but not from a popular pioneers. And iv owned a few pairs of Asics shoes and spikes. So this experience is definitely the first for me, maybe I got a odd pair or they trying somthing new with the stiffness. it's probably for someone. But not for me.

My daughter is picky but we had the hardest time finding track shoes. These were comfortable and fit as expected, and she loved that they were black and not colorful.
