This gel is everything you need for braiding. I use this brand in both this one (ultra hold) and another (smooth). I like both of them depending on the location of the braid(s) and how long you’re needing them to last. Typically I use both in different areas. This one is the holy grail though. They don’t have ingredients that I don’t like and it does contain ingredients I like. It smells good and lasts. No flaking or weird residue. A little goes a long way. I’m a life time customer for this brand. I also like the bracing mouse and scalp oil. Must have for braids! When I use this product paired with this brands braiding mouse I easily have neat braids that last for ten days on average no issue with very little to no maintenance. My daughters often don’t even wear a bonnet to bed and it still lasts and looks wonderful! This has the hold you need and it actually works. After trying what get like a million products and I have finally found the end all be all! This is the one! Look no further!!!! Worth every penny. I’ve bought it over and over again over years now.

So far so good. Doesn't turn white and holds really good. 4c hair fine hair and natural hair. Works on them all. I use it as my mold for braids and weaves

The media could not be loaded. I haven’t tried the gel out but just from holding it it’s heavy. Seems like a good quality gel. It also smells amazing!

This stuff works great. I used it for my crochet braids install. Definitely laid my hair down and kept it laid. It’s not sticky, great price, nice smell. I’m pleased

Ok so I had to write a review on this because listen when I tell you this product is the best it is the best. My parts are clean and it keeps the hair in line. Nothing flies once you add this to your hair. Definitely a must buy and I will keep buying it. Holds edges for long and great value for the price.
