This jar of m-61 SuperSoothe cream feels very nice on the skin! It has a cooling effect that doesn't go away too quickly so it makes irritated skin feel better. It's also very hydrating and moisturizing. I appreciate how well it works to soothe my dry skin. The ingredients are carefully selected to help skin turnover faster so it looks fresher with repeated use. The cream does not include fragrance but has a very delicate naturally occurring scent from the ingredients. I find it pleasant. It contains Menthone Glycerin Acetal which creates the very pleasant cooling effect. Overall I'm pleased with this cream. It's one of my favorites already. The ingredient list looks scary but that's because it includes both the scientific name plus common names for each item. I've used m-61's retinol night cream in the past and REALLY liked it, so when my skin started to become irritated from the winter elements (that just won't quit this year!), I knew I needed something to help. I spend a lot of time outside in the cold and wind and sun, so putting this rescue cream on my wind chapped skin feels soothing.There is a scent in this cream that I don't prefer, but I can't place it, even after reading the ingredient list... It may be peppermint? I don't know what else to call it or describe the smell in a better way but it smells musty. I even notice it after using in on my face it lingers or I keep getting whiffs of it. I've been applying it after washing my face in the shower. My pores are open and clean and so should be the ideal enviroment for whatever you apply. It should absorb easily, fast, and completely. Thing is my face when I touch it doesn't feel soft it just feels slightly tacky like it isn't completely dry. In fact in the mornings I've been washing my face to wash it off. I haven't even been putting it on heavy either. I initially might have use more than needed but the following times I cut back using it sparingly just enough to get full coverage.Just wasn't overly thrilled with the cream in all aspects I guess.

This is a calming cream that really works for me to combat redness and blotchiness. It has a very interesting texture in the jar, like a marshmallow. It feels light on the skin and works quickly. My skin tone becomes more even and less reactive when I use it. It’s a good moisturizer too. It will be perfect for summer when I need a less heavy day cream.There is a very slight scent, almost like mint, to the cream. It’s hard to pin down but it’s quick to dissipate. I very much like how effective this cream is and how light it is.

I found this dream to have such a beautiful cooling effect on my skin that left it glowing and hydrated. This was my first time using anything from this brand and my interest is definitely there.This moisturizer has some fantastic ingredients for soothing the skin as well as brightening ingredients such as licorice.Definitely give this a try.

After this weird winter in California it has been my skin's best friend. With ingredients like kelp, licorice, and carrot extracts, this botanical rescue cream is helping a lot my skin, leaving it feeling soft and nourished.

I was a little confused when my skin started feeling minty after I used this. It's a nice cooling effect, but kinda unexpected in a moisturizer. Then, I noticed how smooth and soft my skin felt, and I was impressed. This is lightweight and absorbs well, but it seems moisturizing enough for day or night. So far I am loving this, but I've only been using it on my normal but "mature" skin for one day so far, so I'll be back to update soon.Update: 6/1/2023 -- I've used another cooling product since that had a much stronger effect. I would call this one mild. I still do not love the cooling sensation, and I feel like I can get the same skincare benefits from other products. But, if you like cooling products or that sounds appealing to you, I think this is worth a try.

The m-61 face cream felt cooling upon application due to the included menthol. It has a nice whipped cream consistency made from shea butter and botanicals and helps reduce redness in my face.
