Great sugar this I believe is as fine as sugar can be before it becomes powdered sugar! Great for cooking because nothing like it where I live and is needed for recipes that want fine sugar.

We bought this (relatively) inexpensive sugar to make nectar for our hummingbird feeders, after getting robbed blind a couple of times purchasing essentially the same thing, marketed specifically for hummingbirds, at twice the price. This product actually dissolves quicker and more completely than the h'bird-specific one, and the birds don't give a toss, one way or the other. Haven't used it yet for baking, but the Mrs. may yet decide to try it in her banana-blueberry muffins.The reusable container is a nice bonus, too. Much sturdier than a plastic bag. We use one to hold spent coffee grounds collected for the compost bin, and another for egg shells headed for the same fate.

Super fine but not powdered. Great for making your own simple syrup or for rimming martini glasses.

It is just that: superfine sugar, which is also known as caster sugar, hence the inclusion of both names.Honestly, is you find a bag of sugar at the grocery store labelled "superfine" or "ultrafine", that's caster sugar. If you can't find that, then this is what you're looking for.10/10 would recommend.

I wish it weren't the holidays; I'd make a lemon meringue!I am currently just using this for fancy home-made hot cocoa, 1 part caster sugar to 1 part Dutched cocoa, with a pinch of cinnamon. Everyone loves it! But I'm sure the sugar will be great when I bake with it too.This is a good unit price, I shop around a lot, and unless you buy twice as much, you're not going to get a better price per ounce.

Decent price and quick delivery. While I can and have made my own fine sugar, this is less labor & time intensive and eliminates scratching up my food processor bowl.

I make a pavlova every christmas and need caster sugar. I've used this brand for several years now. The sugar is great, the container is convenient. Just no complaints at all!
