Nicely well made hydration backpack
Ive always been a camelbak fan ever since the military. This pack is nicely made with alot more room than i thought it would have. It has a tension bar to keep the pack off of your back thats not shown in the pictures to well. That seems like a good add for a bigger pack like this. Its able to hold my drone case at the bottom which is what i was shotting for. Ill get back to updating my review once i put it thru a good run on a trail.

No frills. Functional, comfortable, dependable.
Purchased as a (larger) day pack for hikes and the occasional bike adventure. Light and easily adjustable for comfortable use. The capacity is right on, allowing you to carry water, food, clothes, and gear, with a bit of spare space for other luxuries. Decided to give mine to my Son, an avid outdoorsman, and bought a new one for me. Very happy with how these packs have performed.

Great larger day hike back.
I just used this back for a trip to Zion. I nneded more room for the family's gear and this did the trick. Plenty of water and very comfortable compared to my old camelbak. This fit me well with plenty of adjustments, but I not sure this will fit someone with a very small frame. I'm average size by most standards and the straps were getting close to their smallest limits. But I do prefer a tight fit.

Definitely not what I was expecting
I have a lot of camelbak products over there years. This being first as a total disappointment. I had one of the last model which I feel was superior to this. This has one medium sized pocket and one big dump pocket for the bag. I was expecting a few organizer pockets or sleeves, nothing. I literally opened the package, took the bag and looked it over decided I'm returning which I did. The material also felt very cheap and light not like a heavy duty bag.How this sells for $175 i don't know, I pay maybe $100 tops for what I received. Absolutely not what I was expecting

Voluminous and well made.
Really voluminous, hydration backpack, well-made, and sturdy. Abrasion resistant. wish it still had the padded pocket for sunglasses like my older Camelback but otherwise a great hydration pack.

Leaky Blader
I like this Camelbak because it has outside storage options. I was disappointed in the hip pockets, because some of the items I most wanted to put there do not fit. My glasses case, and IPhone 12 Pro Max do not fit. My wallet can be squeezed in but to tight to access easily. The reason I gave only 3 Stars is because the fitting in the bottom of the water bladder leaks. My first two times I used it my back and rear got wet I own a 10 old camelbak with its original bladder and never had this problem. Both have 3 liter bladders but they are a different style. The new one has a quick disconnect, and even though there is an o ring it still leaked. For the price I expect better quality and quality control. I will look at other bladders to replace this one.

Leaky bladder
I filled this with water and it seamed alright. I then packed the bag with snacks and sat it down while getting everything else ready for my day hike. Came back to find the pack soaked and a puddle on the floor. Pulled everything out to dry and check the bladder to see where it was leaking. Nothing seamed to leak over night without the detachable hose attached so I thought maybe I didn’t get the hose inserted all the way. Attached the hose and didn’t see any leaks. Again packed the bag to test again and it leaked. I have a smaller CamelBak from 10+ years ago with a 1L bladder that has never had any issues and wanted a larger option for longer hikes. I would return this but sadly I already tossed all the packaging and tags.

Big main compartment
Nice large main compartment. Good shoulder strap padding. Fits well overall. I kind of feel the frame hitting my lower back, but if I position & tighten the waist belt first, then the shoulder straps second, that seems to resolve it.
