I used it on an older house that had a steep pitch with a dormer coming out of it. So there wasn't a lot of room and the other bat cones would not have worked. With this product I was able to bend the tube away from the opening far enough to get the angle I needed. I had to fill in the gaps around it with copper mesh and used some of the spray foam to make sure the bats don't get back in around the edges. The door thing wouldn't work in my application because the space is to small. I would use the product again.

I recently embarked on a quest to reclaim my attic from some freeloading bats, armed with a new gadget that promises to show them the door—literally. The quality and size seemed so on point, I half expected the bats to leave out of sheer respect. But will it work? Jury's still out on that one, and I promise to report back with any updates. For an added twist, I installed one next to my security camera. So, stay tuned for what could either be the most uneventful wildlife documentary or an unexpected hit reality show featuring my attic's airborne squatters.
