Was not to happy with the BlackVue LTE Service. Make sure you understand it's a little confusing. Their are two subscriptions. One is for the actual usage of live view and what you can store in their cloud. 5 Megabites total which you can empty. So not a big deal. But they claim it's free but limited...The upgrade is $11.99 per month. The upgrade adds Unlimited Remote Live View, Unlimited remote video playback and download, And up to 3 dashcams under a single account. Keep in mind front and Rear counts as one camera.The Sim Card gives you 1 GB. So the unit started uploading images for Speeding, Sharp turns, excessive stopping and impact. Used up the 1 GB in one day. So I tried to get more GB and it only lets you upgrade at the end of trial. The options are ridiculous as what's available. 1 GB not free after first month $10.99 after the month, 3GB for for 23.99 per month, 5 GB $39.99 per month. I was forced to basically find another company for LTE with a gamble that it would work, as I read another review saying t mobile did not. So I went to AT & T and I got 15 GB for $35 per month with $15 activation. It said 5g on the card but it's working fine. So I wish I had a cabin camera, but I figure I can just add any WIFI cam and Piggy back off the back up battery I'm waiting for and hot spot it to the BlackVue. Or even a ring Battery Cam.Unit runs very hot so I hope that's not an issue. But all in all there are not many cloud car cam options available. Hope this helps !

First thing is the camera quality is good and the LTE cloud makes it even better but …. So complicated to deal with , not all the time can access to the LTE or to do live view 🤔 the dash camera keeps restarting while driving and on parking mode and if I want to live view it don’t work . I changed my SIM card to T-Mobile I thought that will fix the problem as blackvue support said but nothing change actually got worse and when I tried to call blackvue customer service it ring but no one answered and go to voice machine and when they emailed me back they say to make sure that T-Mobile SIM card only provides 4G LTE not 5G LTE but no 4G from T-Mobile or AT&T these days so what should I do now ?? And that’s the biggest issue is to get help because no one trying to help they only said to format the sd card and I did but I knew that’s not the problem so don’t spend $600 on dash cam like that it’s should be much more beneficial than other cheaper ones but I have for about 2 months now but I’m so sad after I thought I got finally the right one and now Im going to get another brand for sure I’m done with this

This is a great camera. Sturdy and excellent video quality. Don't spend the money in LTE version. Its not worth the added price and additional $10.99 a month for SIM activation. For one camera the cloud storage is free. But your storage is limited.Another bad ooint (probably all cameras on the market) is that when I'm parking mode it constantly thinks that when you close your door just a little hard or your hatchback closing, it thinks there was a collision. So it announced this everytime you get in and start your vehicle.With that said there are way cheaper brands that can do the same things. Get a 128g micro SD and forego any LTE options. Not as practical as you would think.

The media could not be loaded. I think maybe I'm just unlucky because the dr970x LTE I bought is defective, i download the video from sd card to my computer as you can see in the video on the right it is so very blurry that you can't read the plate number and also I can't connect to the hotspot on wifi, but on LTE it's fine, then the video quality is very blurry it's set to extreme in the video then the 256gb evo samsung sd card my SD card doesn't work at all it always says restarting when you insert the 256gb now I'm going to return it and buy same dash cam maybe the one i bought is just defective, i really like blackvue because the one in my car i use blackvue dr900x for almost 2 years I haven't had any problems, this will arrive next week I bought the same dash cam i hope there is no problem again, if there is another problem no more blackvue for me i think it's time to look at anoher brand of dash cam

This is my 3rd BlackVue, 1st one failed after a couple years so I got another. The video quality is awesome, the apps map overlay is awesome. But the app, the cloud and the cameras are really glitchy or buggy, I’ve had constant issues with all 3, the cloud will not allow upgrading to the multi camera package. Support is a joke, all the LTE functionality is so overpriced, with the cloud being so unreliable, the LTE so overpriced, I won’t buy another

The BlackVue camera has great features for monitoring the car and gives me push notifications if anyone shakes the vehicle when it’s in parking mode, which is great. Unfortunately, it seems to run hot and often restarts even on cooler days. Maybe I just have a defective model? The one this replaced (a non lte Blackvue) that would run all the time.

I just opened this $500+ dash cam. Come to find scuff marks and extremely dusty This got me very upset. Wondering if what I think I'm buying brand new. Which I sure as heck will be doing more research and filing a complaint if this is the case. And it's actually a refurbished.
