Brilliant taste.
Wonderful taste and good value for money. Coffee from the Blue mountain of Jamaica is definitely the best in the world.

Highly recommended!
I had heard good things about this coffee before trying for myself. I don’t really like black coffee but this is so smooth nothing else is needed. Definitely a game changer when it comes to quality coffee

Refined, smooth - a non-coffee drinker's coffee, perhaps
I've been meaning to try this legendary coffee for a long time now, so when I saw it available at a sizeable discount, I let my resistance slip and ordered a bag. When opened, the aroma wasn't quite as intense as I've experienced with other coffees; slightly nutty, perhaps. Upon grinding, a fruity chocolate flavour came to the fore. So to the cup...It's quite an unusual coffee in that there is very little bitter side to the experience - it's also extremely smooth on the tongue, with very delicate tones of toasty sweetness and floral nuttiness. Despite this lightness, it doesn't taste weak - there's no way this is a decaf (I had terrible insomnia the one time I drank it late at night). There's a great balance to the taste, with no aspect taking too much of the attention; this is a conservative coffee in a way - I was expecting to be blown away by it (considering how much more expensive it is than normal), but having had a few cups now, I see that what differentiates it from other coffee is (apart from the price) the *absence* of possible offensive factors such as bitterness, acidity or roughness; what you're left with is coffee with those veils lifted - a very delicate, sweet, complex and (above all), balanced experience. Inoffensive; safe for granny. Is it worth the money? Well, that depends upon how much money you have - I'm going to try a blind tasting out on a few friends this weekend, so we'll see if they can identify it (I don't think they will). I don't think the difference in taste merits the steep price, but it makes an interesting test for the taste buds.I still prefer Barbera Maghetto Double Ground Coffee Blend 500 g - sacrilege, eh?

Smooth coffee
We had a tour around the blue mountain when on holiday in Jamaica. I've never really been a coffee drinker most coffee I find leave a bitter after taste. The guide suggested we try a black coffee without sugar, so we watch him prepare one and sat down with another couple to drink while at taking about coffee and cricket. This is the second time we have brought blue mountain coffee since our holiday, yes it's expensive compared to supermarket coffee but in my little world it's worth it. I still only drink coffee occasionally, maybe once or twice a week. The best advice I can give, was given to us by the guide is when you open the bag is to only use the amount of beans required to your coffee and leave the remainder in the pack then place in a sealed container and leave in the fridge. We found it keeps it's favour etc, our previous bag lasted roundabout 7 months.

Not what I was expecting
I’ve had blue mountain coffee in the past and this is not what I was expecting at all! Thoroughly disappointed, save yourself the money and don’t buy this. Bought as a gift and while he was grateful because he knows blue mountain and how much it costs, I tried the coffee and it’s super Smokey, just tastes like ash, nothing like the authentic blue mountain coffee I’ve tried before! No undertones, just smoke and ash flavour.

Great coffee
The coffee tastes phannomonal, so smooth and rich in flavour.

Not medium roast
These beans taste like genuine Jamaican Blue Mountain (always a concern when spending so much), but the roast is far too dark for my taste, and not the "medium" stated on the packaging. This is particularly true nowadays, with the so-called third wave of coffee and people's tastes gravitating away from Starbucks and espresso and back to high quality beans being roasted more delicately to allow the flavour profile to survive. Fortunately Jablum send to be available again, and Clydesdale pre-ground coffee is also pretty reliable.
