UPDATED REVIEW:
Ordered this unit to replace a 35+ year old wired unit from Radio Shack that is extremely accurate, and still works. Older tech, LCD screen is deteriorating, and getting harder to read.My top priorities needed in a weather station are in the following order:#1 Must have accurate readings inside and outside of temps and humidity.#2 Must have accurate barometric reading. Ability to calibrate to your area, as this one does, is huge.#3 Well laid out screen, bright, easy to read from any angle. This unit excells. It is perfect. readings are extremely accurate. Readings match my old unit. I've also verified readings with the NOAA's data station from two local airports, less than 15 miles from our rural residence, and is spot on. The forecast feature is mostly accurate. Manual states about a 75% accuracy, and I find that about true. The manual is very well written, and was a snap to set up as well.Features that are a nice touch, but not needed for my needs. Moon phase, alarm, date, and atomic time, hi and lo's recorded from the past 24 hours. The reason I say the unit is almost perfect, is the atomic clock self setting feature. As other reviewers have stated, it's hit or miss getting the reception from Colorado. Kind of a pain every hour having the screen blank out for a few minutes while it searches for a signal. I knew this going in prior to purchase, and knew that where this unit was going to be placed in my home, I had almost zero chance of getting a good signal and was correct in that assumption. No big deal. Disabled the atomic clock per the manual's instruction, and old school set the date and time. Clock keeps perfect time, no blanking out of display, Problem solved. One other note that I had read in reviews on other weather units, not mentioned in this manual. Use Lithium batteries in the remote sensor unit. They will tolerate very cold temps, (-40), I live in WI, and yes, it gets very COLD. Alkaline batteries tend to leak, and won't last as long. The remote sensor works quit far from the main unit, no issues with a solid signal. Time will tell on the overall durability of this unit. Overall I'm very satisfied with Newentor. Excellent product.2025 UPDATE: Purchased a 2nd unit for another location in my home, and the ability to monitor two outbuildings. Works perfect, the new unit locked on to the atomic clock signal immediately. My first unit is still going strong. Customer service is EXCELLENT! Had a technical question prior to purchasing my 2nd unit, Rachel responded to my questions promptly. Great company, Buy with confidante.

Excellent Display
Very satisfied with this weather station in terms of its functions, accuracy and ease of setup. Of particular importance to me is the high quality of the display. It is very bright, colorful and has a wide variety of viewing angles. The display brightness can be manually dimmed for night time use.One demerit was that the external temperature sensor was NOT weather proof and had to be protected from moisture since it contained a small LED temperature display. I find this display unnecessary (useless) when mounted remotely outside.

Station screen goes off 7 mins every hour
The weather station looks beautiful but the setup is a little tricky. To connect your sensor successfully, you must make sure the sensor has the batteries and up running before you put batteries on the station (or plug it on electric outlet), because if you turn on the station before you turn on the sensor, the station will not connect to the sensor. You'll have to manually switch the station channels to trigger the connection.Another issue is that the brightness button is placed at a position where a human will tend to place fingers to press the buttons in the back of the station. Doing that will brightness level even if you didn't mean to change the brightness. That's a very bad design. They could've just put the button in the back just like the other buttons or put it on the right side out of the way where a hand and fingers won't naturally sit in and press the other buttons in the back. The weather station Q3 has a better design with all the buttons including the brightness button located on the right side. Unfortunately the Q7 doesn't.The sensor never lost connection(started losing connection a couple of times but not a recurrent issue) which is good but I wish it had a hole to hang or attach it which is more secured than just the back hole option for hanging it on a wall only.So far, the temperature reading are consistent always +1 degree Fahrenheit compared to my echo dot and my Google nest thermostat 4th generation. I've also tested the sensor indoor and it had the same exact temperature as the weather station itself. So, if your station or sensor has 80° F, then the real temperature is 79° F.Update(09/04/23): I found out you can turn off the auto WWVB signal search. You hold the mode button for 3secs, the daylight saving(DST) will start flashing, then press the mode button 7 times to cycle through the menu(once=set Year, 2=set Month, 3=set day, 4=set 24hr format or 12hr format, 5=set hours, 6=set minutes, 7=set WWVB, 8=exit). Once you reach the WWVB, you'll see a triangle flashing, then use the UP or DOWN button to turn on/off the WWVB.If you don't turn off the WWVB and you leave in a region where the signal cannot reach you, the weather station device will keep on turning off for 7 minutes every hour for 24 hours which totals almost 3 hours of black screen everyday.I find this device having too many black screens everyday and the problems always come from either the WWVB signal search, or the electricity going off in my area for a short time, or I accidentally touched the light dimming on top of the device(see 2nd picture above), or I accidentally pulled the electric cable and no electricity was coming to the device. So, I'll advise you to check those issues that I've mentioned in case you have similar black screens. It's also wise to put 3 AA batteries even if you're going to plug it on electricity to keep the screen ON all the time. If you don't put batteries on it and you have electric shortage in your area, the device will turn off and lose all the preset date, time zone, time...

Great Weather Station
This is a really nice weather station. The viewing angle of the display allows you to read it from anywhere in the room, not just head on. The internal and external sensors give accurate readings. The Station uses an external sensor on the cord of the base unit. This means you get fast accurate readings, without having to wait for the mass of the base unit to follow the room temperature. Due to the large size of the display, it is easy to read and very colorful. I would recommend this unit.
