Easy to install and use
I own few cameras and they all work great. Download the app first, rest is very easy to follow. Yiu just scan the bar code from camera and you can see live images on your phone. Don't forget to get memory card for it. The peep hole on your door might be little too small for the wire connections, you would have to use a drill to make it bigger, every door is different.

This is the best decision I've made for security.
It's well worth the money. Easy to install and it works as it should. Awesome motion sensor that alerts and records someone or something that's 6ft away from door. The sensor will make a beeping alert well before someone gets close. AND it records from long distance if you activate the device from your phone. No complaints.

Works. Nice to have an actual display inside your door.
This model was one of a very few that had its own LCD display screen on the inside of your door so you don't have to rely on your smart phone to see who is at your door.Of course it also notifies your smart phone with a few seconds delay.Install of hardware pretty easy.Make sure the LCD screen is pushed FIRMLY into its holder to ensure connectivity.Connecting to your WiFi router and configuring it was a challenge. But most devices like this have this issue. Not easy for a non-geeks to configure.Have the family computer/smart phone/electronic person help you with this.It requires charging of the battery every 30 days as we have it configured and used.Review based on about 1 month of use.

Security
I had a similar product but from another company. I replaced it because the volume when someone rang the bell was extremely low and something I missed who was at the door. This product solved those two problems. I could hear who is at the door because the volume is very loud compared to a previous one I had and I also get notification on my phone and tablets. I admit,I wasn't ok that it connects to the internet. Don't want a company having access to my doorbell. But, had to compromise. You also don't have use their cloud services to access your history and look back who was at your door. It has local storage with a SD memory card. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

Language change step by step
The media could not be loaded. The camera I received did not offer the language option on setup and I ended up with default language - I presume Chinese. I contacted support and after back and forth finally received the attached video showing how to change the language from Chinese to English and it worked! 1. Go to Settings (top icon on the right side when display wakes up) 2. Choose Firmware (bottom right blue icon) 3. Hit Language (bottom right button) 4. Choose English (first from top) and Confirm (top right button). Overall, so far I am very happy with the camera!

Great Marketing, Disappointing Device. Mediocre Support. Thinking of tossing it into the trash
The best thing about this product is its marketing. Unfortunately, it has a lot of issues that make it a very poor purchase decision. Here are some of the issues:Device:- Does not fit into the typical optical peephole. Requires a larger door hole and drilling.- Camera angle is narrow, thus it only give headshots close up and can't show ground in front of door where packages may be. Competitors market a wider-angle feature.- No option to temporary pause recording such as when door is opened from inside. Display must be unplugged to accomplish this and easy to forget to plug it back in.- Touch display is insensitive often require multiple presses to get it to respond to selections.- Display interface is not very user friendly. Poor design in my opinion.- No option to batch erase recordings. Storage card must be reformatted to delete multiple recordings at once.- Camera color setting is night and day and buried in settings instead of being labeled color and BW. Confusing to find and setup.App- No history batch erase. Formatting camera storage does not erase App history. Only way to do is to uninstall and reinstall the App which is a complex procedure.- Documentation is poor. For instance during install refers to selecting a location for storage of device information seems to not work in iOS.- Predatory marketing of subscription services. Defaults to 'free trial' on install and must uncheck to bypass. Shows screen for 'free trial' during install blocking further progress with no obvious or identifiable way of closing it other than to quit and restart the App to continue the install procedure. If the has an icon in the App that does nothing more than trying to coerce you to sign up for a cloud subscription. Very annoying.- Computer App does not allow access to settings. Very limited features.- User interface seems quite user unfriendly- Documentation is limited and sometimes confusingAdditionally tech support is quite mediocre and does not seem interested in address any of the above issues. As such I regard this as a very bad purchase decision. Had I discovered much of the above during the return period I would have not kept it. Given my experience with this device along with its mediocre support, I simply cannot imagine purchasing any EZVIZ products in the future and would never consider purchasing this product again. I expect that my frustration with it in the future will result in me research a viable competitor and toss this camera into the trash. Obviously, I cannot recommend that anyone should consider purchasing this camera. Sometimes we regret some of the purchases we make. This is one of these times.Update: Unit frequently locks up and have to reset it. Vertical field of view is quite limited. Touchscreen often insensitive. Have been looking for a replacement but honestly could not identify anything better that does not have a subscription and I am not willing to pay big bucks per year for a peephole camera. There are better doorbell units on the market without subscription but they all requre a mobile camera for viewing which I find inconvenient. There are a few units marketed with separate screens but quite expensive. What I am still looking for is a reasonably priced peephole camera that is reliable, has a decent vertical field of vision like some of the newer doorbell units, does not require a subscription, and has a decent battery/recharging life. So far nothing I researched fits that bill. If someone comes out with one I will likely replace this one with it.

It works for free with memory card
I have EZVIZ cameras on my balcony and room and recently I bought the peephole door bell by EZVIZ and very satisfied - all devices works for free and use memory card and everything in one system ( app).. For the device I a little upgrade the base because I used old non-electric door chime assembly which was before
