Its not as slim at it looks on the picture, but it looks just like a smart watch. There are 2 buttons on the side. one for recording video and sound and the other just to record sound. no lights flashing when recording, only a symbol of a red heart is displayed at the bottom of the screen. and if you are just recording sound a faint heart symbol is displayed. no one can tell that you are recording but you. you only get about 2 hrs of video recording on a full battery charge. You need to practice to turn the recording on or off as required. not hard, but just getting familiar with the buttons. quality of video and sound are good, but need to keep arm horizontal. best way is to keep arms folded and make sure the camera arm is on the outside and keep as steady as possible for better results. just the same as if you were using a video camera.

Does this come with a SD card, if not what type do I need to buy for it

Yes, a 32GB will be given away in the product. If you want a larger memory card, it's the MICRO SD card.
