Gel Bags Have Done A SUPERB Job for 2 Years!
These gel bags did exactly what we needed them to do, BLOCK and ABSORB rain water! We couldn't be more satisfied. We used them in 2023 then dried them out for several weeks in the sun. We packed them away in our garage and pulled them out for our rainy 2024 winter months. Again they absorbed and blocked water where we needed them around our yards. The ones that are fully expanded were located in the most flooded areas. Only 2 of the bags, out of 10 bags, did not fully expand on year 2. We just kept the gel on half of the side to use as a barricade. They worked so well I bought 10 more bags for my dad's yard and he also had success with all 10 gel bags on year 1. We fully recommend these useful Gel Bags.

Do not buy
These were a total waste of money. We have a garage that takes water when we get a fast hard rain. We had these out on both sides of the garage door and they stopped nothing. They were submerged in water, a little less than ankle deep, due to flooding and never grew in size.

Stop the flood.
These are indispensable for any situation where you need to soak up quite a bit of water quickly. This is my second order for these.

Not worth it
I got these in the interim while I was waiting to have a French drain put in my basement. Although it soaked up water it did not keep water from still going underneath and around the sides. Not sure it was worth the money and I'm glad I tried it but would not highly recommend for anyone. Really needing to keep water from coming in your house.

No instructions for use
We had no idea how to use these. From unpacking in an area where the dust does not spill everywhere to how to lay them for best absorption we had no guidance. Now we have them only half full and they have stopped absorbing. Half a roll is flat and the other is very full. Ni idea how it is “reusable”

Brilliant. No sand, no hassle, and cost effective!!
This product is amazing!! It’s comes in flat, just like a cloth. When it absorbs water, it blows up like a tube and puts on weight like an old school sandbag. Granted, I am in LA and only used it for the recent “hurricane” but it did the job and I am so glad I bought this!!

Didn't work
My house has some flooding during heavy rains & I so hoped this work absorb the water as it entered the house through the seam where the wall meets the floor (it's flooding from below b/c of a saturated water table). Unfortunately, it didn't. Instead the water pooled around it.

Useful for isolating a roof leak
I kind of laughed when I received these. They seem to be made out of material similar to budget weed block and felt like there was only about one cup of sand-like material inside each 6ft long bag. I immediately thought these things were a joke. However, after soaking them with a hose, some sort of witchcraft happened. They all eventually expanded to an unexpected…girth. When activated, each weighed about 15 pounds. The product on the inside tends to not expand throughout the bag evenly, with some sections seemingly being completely flat, however you can use your hand or foot to easily move material to the empty spots.I used these to identify the location of a roof leak, part flat roof, part angeled roof that I was previously unable to identify and they worked well for that.Only critical thoughts are 1) they seem to be more for light water protection. If you need to keep a lot of water out of an area, these might not be for you. 2). When dry, the product on the inside is dusty and when initially handling them, you’ll get some clouds of dust coming out of them, but whatever.
