Perfection!
I agonized over this purchase because they all look so similar. Great choice! No rough edges at all, perfect size (large enough for a full meal, a laptop, or to fit over a big guy!). The legs are sturdy! I am a happy customer.

Whatever, It Gets 5 Stars
I could not find a Laptop tray for left-handed people. Unfortunately (I won't go into the reason why) I have a laptop with a numeric keypad. This automatically puts my hands/fingers in the wrong position. So I am constantly hitting the wrong keys. This is especially true for the screen mouse. I am constantly hitting the right side of the screen mouse instead of the left. Unbelievably irritating when I am trying to scroll. If I had purchased a right-handed laptop tray, it would have exacerbated the problem. Therefore, this tray gets 5 stars just because I found something usable for a left-handed person. The tray is nice looking. It has a nice finish. The side hand holes are extremely useful, and I like the little tray the length of the tray that holds glasses, pens, electronics, etc. That said, it collapsed on me several times before I got the hang of removing it from my lap and placing it on the floor with the legs at an angle (not too brillant here). Also--but I knew this when I purchased it, so I knew what I was getting--it's a bit tall and wide, so it does not fit into my chair securely. I have actually gotten use to the height. As far as the width, it leans. But it does not tilt, nor does it collapse on my lap. Also, the inside lip--spacebar side of computer is slightly rough on the inside, so real problem, however. This is listed as a bed tray, and it probably would have been perfect for that.

It actually fits a 17" laptop
I needed a workstation I could use at home while I was recovering from ankle surgury, so something with clearance for me to elevate my leg was necessary. This fit nicely, with my "knife hand" picture showing the clearance between the tray and my leg on the bed. From the beginning, it was packaged well beyond what I expected, with thick foam for each corner, and cellophane wrapped inside the box. The legs unfolded easily, but are only friction locked, so time will tell if they need to be tightened to keep them folded when I want it flat. The tray maintains a nice flat bottom with the legs folded, if that matters to you. I use a Dell Precision M6600 17" laptop, which fit nicely on this tray, with enough clearance in back for the power cable to plug in without being strained. The power cable does overhang the lip designed for proping up your tablet or phone, but doesn't make contact while connected; barely. I imagine it would be very easy to use a drill to create a cutout for lower cable connection requirements. There is plenty of room for side connections, end more than enough room for a coffee cup when I moved it to one side. I very much appreciate the lower lip on the front of the tray since the last one I used was higher than the wrist rest on my laptop, and left a painful crease on the bottom of my wrists after use. My thinnest Asus laptop still clears the front lip with plenty of room to avoid that problem with this tray. I can't tell if it is sealed, or if it would leak of I spilled something on the tray, but the fittings look tight enough that I am not really worried about it yet. The back lip for propping up your tablet or phone was open enough to accept my phone with a thick Otterbox, so I imagine it will accept most tablets as well. The tray feels sturdy overall, appears well made, and is quite light. The legs are on phillips screw hinges, and appear to be easy to adjust/tighten if necessary. I gave the durability rating 5 stars for these reasons, but will come back to adjust if something changes my mind. I'm very happy with this product initially, and glad I bought this one. Enjoy!

Best Bed Tray I've Ever Had!
I needed a new adult bed tray for myself and I made the right choice of picking this one. It's perfectly sturdy, but please watch out for splinters! I had one or two in me from grabbing it aside from the side handles and it wasn't fun but it's not that big of a deal since it's made of wood and obviously not painted. I highly recommend it!

Very nice trays!
My honey and I use these all the time. They are well built and easily fold up for storing. I would recommend more wirh a King size bed over a Queen if ordering two as thry would fit better sided by side on a King.

Works perfectly
Purchased for a person who had just given birth. She used it to hold her water and tablet while trying to rest and get work done while sitting on the comfortable sofa.

Perfect tray for use in bed or on the couch
I bought this tray to use after my knee surgery as sitting at the table to eat was going to be difficult. This tray was perfect for eating on the couch or sitting up in bed. It is very well made and can hold quite a bit of stuff on it. My husband loved that there are handles on the sides, which made carrying it up and down the stairs so much easier. We could easily fit two dinner plates on the tray, with room for silverware. With just one dinner plate on there, I could fit a small notebook and a cup on the tray. I also used it for my laptop and was able to fit my laptop and smaller notebook on the tray together. The height of the tray worked great for me, too. It fit well over my legs, even if I had a normal size pillow propping my knees up. Overall, this is a great product and I recommend it for anyone who cannot sit and eat at the dinner table, who needs to work somewhere else besides and desk/table, or for anyone who just wants a lap tray to work on.
