Works great
This was easy to install and use. It has been up for a couple of months now and working well. I added this to extend coverage to a detached garage. I have it set as an access point, there are other choices depending on your need. I recommend placing it as high as you can for better coverage/range.

Powerful
Put it on my ranch porch, it reaches a long way out, works much better than I expected, well worth the money I paid!

Handled my RV park Wi-Fi reception problem
We are living in an RV park and the Wi-Fi has been problematic. Sometimes the signal is OK, and other times it fades in and out. After a particularly bad two day period I decided to overwhelm the problem. I had been using the AC1200 model that I purchased years ago. It would just not handle the reception. The signal was marginal and the AC1200 is an indoor unit. The AX1800 unit allowed me to connect me to the 5G access point in the RV park and now my download speeds are 10-13 Mbps compared to 2-4 Mbps that I was getting before the equipment change.Installation was simple and smooth. Be sure to READ the instructions. The four antennae have specific places to be installed (2.4G vs. 5G).My wife is happy also because she does not get disconnected while she is surfing the web.

Update
After a bunch of time troubleshooting I finally got it to work.

Incredible range
Installed it, (hardwired), on the old/obsolete TV antenna pole about 20' high. I now have enough wifi range to operate my Ring cameras in the corrals and tractor barns roughly 300 yds away. I'm fairly astonished at it's capability. Bit confusing to get up and running, but easy to physically install. Make sure you have direct "line of sight" for acceptable speeds. Quality product folks. Provides me with great comfort and peace of mind being able to have security cameras in such remote locations on the farm. Very satisfied with it overall!

The mount is a joke. Won't let me save my settings.
UPDATE: Installed 7/2023 dead 11/2023. This device is a joke. Stay away. I'm in IT. Do not recommend. Software is too simple and build quality is subpar. The WAP worked without issue. The software is VERY basic. No guest mode. If you want more thanone SSID you need to designate one for 2.4ghz and one for 5ghz. I was impressed that it was able to do a firmware update using my phone over the "cloud'. Ultimately the limited software will make this my last purchase of this item. The method to mount the unit is a joke. Not very secure for an outside unit. Ethernet connection must be enclosed in 1/2 inch conduit or water grommet from the bottom. No method to mount on the ceiling with any ease.On the very first screen it asks you to change the default password. Great! Except it won't save the new password. Keeps saying to use English letters and special characters. Which I am doing. I finally got this to work by changing my password until it liked one I picked. The SSID passwords have the same issue.I would not recommend for anything but a very basic install.I gave it 3 stars because it does work and the range was excellent.

Works quite well.
I originally tried the Wavlink AC1200 and went through 2 of them in 2 months. Both units would lose connectivity in the rain and would require the setup process to be done over. When they worked, line of sight range was approx. 400 ft with 30mbps speed. This AX1800 unit has been installed for 2 months now and has worked perfectly so far. Not a single outage and line of sight range is 700ft with 50mbps speed @ 700 ft. At 150 ft, 100 mbps. It is setup as a repeater.
