Sony HT-SC40 2.1ch Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer (Renewed)

I was a little skeptical about buying another soundbar. I'm a Sony fan and the last Sony soundbar I bought for my grandma went bad after a few years and it was light used. But that's in the past. This system performs extremely well out the box, bought it refurbished in acceptable condition and still looks like new! I'm pleased with the sound so far; my only tiny complaint is while streaming Hulu or Netflix from the TV to the soundbar via HDMI arc is that there is a slight delay from the soundbar after fast forwarding or rewinding a video it takes about 4 to 6 seconds before the sound comes back and I end up missing a few seconds on a video...But its only one day and maybe the settings can be modified to stop the lag..Non the less, Bluetooth subwoofer is flawless, and music is flawless. Buy it and enjoy it. Hopefully this one will last for some years. I will update this post if necessary.

Sounds great

First order the remote was missing. Returned and ordered again and this time the sound bar doesn't work. No sound and sound bar keeps saying no input. This is connected to a brand new Sony TV and this has been a frustrating experience trying to save a buck purchasing refurbished. I would really like to see how these products are checked for quality control

The media could not be loaded. Great clarity & bass. Easy set up. Arrived on time

I was reluctant to buy this Sony sound bar because I previously had one bigger a Sony HT-S400 and I really liked it.I was going to get the same one again.But I ain't want to drop that much on one again.I seen this one refurbished for less than $100.So I give it a chance.The bass isn't as good as my other one but the overall sound is good I'm satisfied with it for the price.I always have like Sony products.Can't go wrong if your using this in a bedroom.

For the price the sound is excellent.

Pairs perfectly with Sony TV’s. Sound is loud and clear. Bass is impressive for size

I should increase max. Volume to hear the sound and suddenly loud sound come from the subwoofer..weird
